Sadie ignored the rider and moved on to his partner. "Would you like what he's having?"
The rider was terrified and quickly shook his head. "I-I'll talk! It's a man named Wilhelm Joens. He told us to do this!"
The other rider was incredulous. "Are you crazy?! How are we going to stay in business now?!"
"The business?! Is that all you understand?! I prefer not to be laughed at for just having one ear!"
The two riders clearly had different priorities between loyalty and survival.
Still, Sadie pressed, "Where is Wilhelm now?"
"Cranberry Apartments! Unit 302 on the fourth floor of Block C!"
"Good."
Sadie patted the man's head encouragingly and rose to her feet. "Are we going back to Golden Lily first, or do we go looking for Wilhelm?"
Frank sneered. "All debts must be paid!"
Sadie smiled and nodded, and the two riders were left trading glances as they remained on the ground, watching as they left.
They were only told to harass those two, only for them to turn out to be such ruthless characters.
Wilhelm had definitely stirred the hornet's nest now—it was really over for him.
