The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2279

"In that case, we will just…"

Rudy's thugs were certainly not concerned for whatever he was planning and just wanted to leave.

However, Rudy's face fell right then as he snapped, "Don't you dare move if you want to live!"

The thugs had no choice but to shut up, and Rudy picked a few of them to bring him a computer to watch the cameras.

It was just as the thugs had claimed—Frank's people had completely surrounded the place and were clearly not affording them any chance to escape.

Still, Fiona Queen appeared just then and exclaimed, "They're here already? I'm actually getting excited!"

"Indeed. There's hope for my leg yet!" Uran Wal laughed as he entered the room as well, wheeled in by a woman in a black dress.

"And you are…?" Rudy was immediately ogling the woman.

"Let me introduce you," Uran smiled enthusiastically. "This is Sayna, my fiancee. Sayna, meet Mr. Rudy Himmel!"

Sayna Quill smiled coolly but said nothing. She had no interest in Rudy and would not have come at all if Uran did not basically drag her here.

On the other hand, Rudy nodded. "She's got an attitude. I like that!"

He would properly let loose but did not go through with it since Uran might still prove useful.

He beckoned for the thugs to bring Fiona and Sayna chairs, but after they sat, Sayna immediately asked, "I was told that Lugh Frankton controls beyond the four fundamental forces. Are you sure you can beat him?"

Rudy ignored her and turned to Uran. "You let her talk to you like that? I don't mean to pry, but you really shouldn't let your wife speak for you!"

Uran smiled bitterly in silence—there was no helping it when he was the one marrying into her family. He was in no place to argue with her!

"Please don't mind. She's just a little spoiled," he said with a sigh.
