The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2351

Was Frank even human?!

He looked plain, but he packed some serious punch, not to mention how quick he was! Even Mike Tyson would be holding both thumbs up to a man like him!

"What else were you going to say?" Frank growled just then, seeing that Mr. Quaker was not leaving.

He wiped the sweat off his brow, and snapped, "Let's be reasonable! My Bright Sky Herb was definitely high-grade, but you lowballed me! You started this!"

Frank smirked. "If you think so, then talk to someone who knows their herbs!"

Mr. Quaker frowned. "You think I wouldn't?!"

"That's your own business, not mine!" Frank snapped. "If you think I swindled you, sue me all you want. You'd lose your pants—I can guarantee that much, if you told the truth, that is!"

Frank's outburst actually gave Mr. Quaker pause, as he certainly sounded reasonable.

Was it actually possible that he had been tricked?!

"Mr. Quaker, if you don't mind, I'll call your grandfather!" Zangi suggested just then. He whipped out his phone and dialed the number, or what happened in the morning would just happen again.

Mr. Quaker's grandfather was quick to answer Zangi's call, since he was quite old and had plenty of free time.

"Good afternoon, sir," Zangi quickly said, placing the call on speaker. "Allow me to introduce myself—I'm Zangi, a store hand at Dustin's Apothecary. Is it possible that you remember me?"

"Why, yes!" Mr. Quaker's grandfather replied. "Why did you call me? Did someone perhaps bring in the good stuff?"

"Oh, it certainly is good stuff! It's a Bright Sky Herb, y'know!"

"A Bright Sky Herb?"

Mr. Quaker's grandfather sounded exasperated right then. "I won't lie—my grandson had one too, but while valuable, no one would want it. You should ask someone else."

Zangi was not sure if he should laugh or cry—Mr. Quaker's grandfather must have presumed that he wanted his help in finding a buyer!
