Igor and the other scientist were on hand to receive them outside the research lab, since Sue had called ahead to inform them that Frank was coming.

"Mr. Frankton!" Igor hurried to him as Frank arrived. "Are you feeling any discomfort? If you do, please inform me right away. The lab will do everything possible to help."

Frank smiled, shaking his head. "What are you saying? Your skill is plenty trustworthy—we're just here to see how much progress you have made on your research. It would be ideal if even the average Joe could benefit from the regenerative serum."

Igor laughed. "In that case, we welcome your visit with open arms!"

While Frank was conversing with Igor, he was keeping an eye on a quiet youth nearby.

He was around his twenties and sported a buzz cut, and everything from his appearance to his eyes appeared to be local. Only Frank was aware that he was actually a foreigner.

Before long, Frank strode up to Robbie and asked Igor, "Who's this? I don't think I've seen him before."

"The boy's name is Rohan," Igor quickly said. "You wouldn't have heard, sir, but he's actually a crank who never attended university and was born to be a biologist! He's helped considerably in my research and its success, but I guess he's the type who keeps a low-profile.

"He didn't want to be credited in our research, so I didn't introduce him before!"

Frank nodded. "It's good being modest, though keeping a low-profile for other reasons would make this a completely different story."

There was a brief twitch in Robbie's eyes that was soon gone, while Igor appeared confused. "What does that mean, Mr. Frankton?"

Frank ignored him and asked Robbie, "Since you're the reason I've gained such a special ability, would you allow me to buy you lunch?"

Robbie quickly shook his head. "You flatter me, sir. I simply nudged Dr. Leitner in the right direction—it was him who accomplished this, not me."

Igor quickly said, "Sorry, Mr. Frankton. Please understand that the kid really isn't a fan of socializing!"
