People like him must be brought to justice—beat him up, and I'll try to help with your son's medical bills."

Frank smirked, quickly catching on—Lanky was most definitely the father of the youth who almost killed Charmaine. Now that his son was hurt, he led a gang here, ready to cause trouble.

As the rest of the mob paused, Lanky strode up, snapping at Frank, "Were you the one who hurt my son, brat?!"

Frank sneered. "But that's not my fault—it's your son who almost killed old Charmaine, and I'm just returning the favor. So what's got your goat?"

That only sent Lanky flying into a rage. "He's just a child! Did you have to go that far?! You just ruined his life!"

Frank snorted. "A child? A child who grew out his hair? A child who tried to hurt a helpless old woman? I'm telling you, you shouldn't use that excuse when trouble comes. Not even a dog is allowed to go that far, let alone a child."
