While Frank could not sense an attack, he dodged by instinct and watched as the spot where he had been standing distorting as if an unfurling ripple.

Jada noticed what happened and exclaimed, "Chief, is the weirdo actually very powerful?!"

Frank smiled, shaking his head.

Gesturing at the pictures of the mystical beasts with his chin, he explained, "His ability most likely has something to do with those pictures. I'm not too sure if his true form is all that strong, but the one in front of us is really no big deal. He could hurt me at best, but not kill me."

He then started pointing at Frank repeatedly with both hands, and Frank kept dodging while closing in on the weirdo.

Jada chimed in, "If you're that strong, stand and fight my master!"

She even rolled her eyes—not at the weirdo, and certainly not at Frank.

She simply scorned her own self from a second ago, thinking that Frank might lose.
