Alan fixed his gaze on Wendy's lips, then traced down her delicate chin and her smooth neck. Eventually, he rested his eyes on her voluptuous chest.
His breathing became heavy, and his voice trembled as he spoke. "I can't explain it, but hearing that you're marrying someone else suddenly got me a little excited."
How did he feel excited? Wendy's mouth hung open, and her face was filled with shock. What was wrong with Alan? He was thrilled when his partner married someone else.
Wendy used to think there wasn't much difference between Eastorian men and Cafran men. They all had similar builds, skin tones, and looks. But now she finally saw the difference. It was something that no normal Cafran men had, but it filled her with fear.
"Aren't you supposed to be mad? I'm your woman, but I married someone else and slept with another guy. It's basically like I cheated on you, and I would not be pure anymore. How could you be excited about this?"
Alan looked at Wendy's terrified face. She looked like a kitten caught in a storm. He slowly raised his hand and placed it on her soft cheek, gently brushing her smooth skin. Then, his hand rested on her alluring lips, and he got even more worked up.
"You've got the wrong idea, Wendy. You didn't cheat on me, and it's something else entirely. After you marry Kingston, you'll be his wife. If I sleep with you after that, I'd be the one making him look like a fool."
Wendy took a step back. Fear washed over her as Alan seemed a little twisted. At this point, Wendy was Alan's partner, yet she was marrying Kingston. Wasn't that cheating already?
Despite that, Alan saw it the other way around. An Eastorian man having such a thought was just mind-boggling, and it was laughably absurd. Suddenly, Wendy was struck by the thought of leaving him.
Alan moved closer, his hand gently running over Wendy's face, as if he was handling a precious gem.
He continued, "Just think about it. On the night you marry Kingston, you're his bride. Then, I show up in your room, and we hook up on the bed. Isn't that thrilling?"
Wendy felt a chill running across her spine. "If you do that, Kingston will totally lose it. It's just not going to happen."
Alan's voice grew even softer as he murmured, "Just get Kingston so drunk that he ends up on the floor, and we'll be on the bed. Imagine how intense and exciting that would be.
