The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 754

Anson whipped out his phone and called his subordinate. "The target's about to show up, Roan. Is everything ready?"

On the 12th floor, a man was playing a game on his phone. He had long hair and was wearing a brown short-sleeve shirt.

Seeing that Anson was calling, he quickly muted the game and picked up the call. "It's all ready, Mr. Fuller."

Anson was all about having everything under control. Fearing even the slightest slip-ups, he asked, "How much gasoline did we prepare in the hallway?"

Roan Stoddard replied right away, "Ten gallons of gasoline spread across 20 cans."

Anson continued to ask, "How about each room?"

Roan said without hesitation, "There are five cans in each room on the 12th floor. That's plenty to catch the entire floor on fire. With a single spark, it'll burn up to the 15th floor quickly. No one above the 12th floor will make it out alive."

Anson frowned and didn't say anything. He felt like they hadn't prepared enough and feared that the fire would take too long to spread, giving Matthew a chance to slip away. "Don't you think we need more gasoline?"

Upon hearing Anson's words, Roan understood what was in Anson's mind, but he believed there was nothing to worry about. With so much gasoline, the fire would grow to be massive in no time after they started the fire. It'd be practically impossible to put it out.

But since Anson had voiced out, he didn't dare to say anything and just went along with what Anson wanted. "We still have ten cans of gasoline in the truck. If you feel like that's not enough, I can haul them up right now."

Anson glanced at the time and snapped, "The target is almost here. Why didn't you bring those ten cans up earlier? You should've given it your all. Seriously? You've been with me long enough to know how I do things."

Startled by Anson's yelling, Roan quickly explained, "I thought we had enough gasoline, so—"

Anson irritably interrupted, "Enough with the excuses. Just take things more seriously next time. What about the video call setup in the president's office on the 15th floor? I have to have a few words with Matthew before he dies."

His older brother, Jonas, and his dad, Vernon, died at the hands of Matthew. His hatred for Matthew ran so deep that he wanted to watch Matthew burn alive, relishing the fear and regret on Matthew's face as the flames engulfed him.

On top of that, he looked forward to witnessing Matthew's agony and screams right before he died. That was the only way Anson would feel the sweet taste of vengeance.

Upon hearing that, Roan proudly laid out his arrangements as if he were taking credit for them. "We're all set, and I have two tablets ready. Even if one breaks, there's a backup for you to talk to him.
