Matthew grabbed the water, realizing for the first time Rachel could be pretty considerate. "Thanks."

Rachel rolled her eyes at him. "I've given you everything, and you're still so polite with me."

He realized she was right. "Alright. I'll stop being so formal from now on."

Someone knocked on the door, and Rachel hurried to clean the floor before opening it. After opening the door, she found out that it was the new sales manager.

Her expression immediately turned cold. Glancing back at Matthew, who was drinking water, she instructed, "Head out and check on the car. I'll need it this afternoon."

Matthew was taken aback by how quickly Rachel changed her demeanor. The only time she was truly honest with him was when they were intimate. "Got it. I'll go inspect the car. I drive pretty aggressively sometimes, so it definitely needs more maintenance."

Rachel's expression changed slightly, but she quickly reverted to her aloof attitude. She turned to the sales manager. "The hospital matters have been sorted out. You need to…"

Matthew walked out of the office and made his way toward the elevator.

In the corridor, Tracy watched Matthew's back figure as he left. A hint of resentment flashed in her eyes. "Just you wait, Matthew. After I speak with Tessa, your relationship with Rae will be over."
