The greatest man alive novel (by Maverick Bowman) novel Chapter 15

“How did you know that Roberts Group is in deficit, and they’re going to run away with the money?” Hannah stood in front of Nathan and asked him.

Nathan said blankly, “I’ve already explained. I don’t want to say it again. You are not deaf, aren’t you?”

These words made Hannah so angry that she couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Nathan did know how to irritate people.

Usually, when men saw Hannah, they were always polite to her.

“I believe your words, so I decided to take back my money from Roberts Group!” Hannah said with a sudden smile.

Her words made Nathan stunned. He thought this woman would say something to taunt him, but he didn’t expect she would believe him.

He frowned and said, “Suit yourself.”

Hannah said, “Are you going to let the Johnson family give such a large amount of money to the Roberts Group?”

Nathan said, “They don’t believe me. There’s nothing I can do. But I’m curious. Why do you believe me?”

“I’ve been watching you all the time, including I lied today to put your credit on Luke. I wanted to test your performance and see if you’re a man of courage… With my careful observation, I don’t think you are the kind of man with a strong vanity, and you won’t talk big to show off.”

“So I believe what you said!”

Hannah followed Nathan’s and said with a charming smile. She stepped on the ground with her high heels rhythmically, making a very pleasant sound.

Nathan was surprised and frowned slightly.

Hannah approached him and smiled, “Officer Evans, what I said is true! I believe you. Why don’t you believe me?”

Nathan looked indifferent, he said, “Since they don’t believe me, you can persuade them to withdraw their capital. Otherwise, if Roberts Property run away with money, I can’t do anything either!”

Hannah nodded and said, “I will find a time to talk to Natalie. Don’t worry about it.”

“Are you free tomorrow? I want to invite you for tea.” Hannah changed the topic suddenly and smiled at him.

“Huh?” Nathan didn’t know what she was planning.

He was afraid she might want to set him up again to humiliate him and let him divorce Natalie.

“Would you like to come?” Hannah leaned forward and held Nathan’s arm.

Nathan had never been so close with a woman. He felt that his arm was immersed in a sponge, soft and extraordinarily comfortable. However, he was not that kind of lustful man.

He immediately pulled his arm back and said indifferently, “Thanks. I’m not interested!”

Hannah’s face suddenly became sullen. For the first time in her life, she took the initiative to invite a man on a date, but she was rejected directly!

“Humph! What an arrogant man!” Hannah couldn’t help but snort annoyingly.

“Huh?” Nathan waved silently to stop a taxi.

Natalie said, “Hey, I’m Natalie’s friend. If you want to win her heart, you need to get over me first! With this attitude, do you think I’ll help you?”

Nathan said calmly, “I know she doesn’t like me. Our marriage is decided by the elders! I don’t want to force her. I just want to protect her in secret until our marriage is over.”

Then Nathan stopped a taxi and said to the driver, “Almonube Estate. Thank you.”

Hannah was about to catch up and ask him about the Gloire Hotel today. When she heard what Nathan said to the driver, she was taken aback.
