The greatest man alive novel (by Maverick Bowman) novel Chapter 151

Chapter 151 Lesson

Nick trembled violently. He had never forgotten Nathan.

He remembered clearly how much he had suffered at Poly Capital last time!

Even his own father was very respectful to Nathan.

After that, he learned from his father that Nathan had a very close relationship with the Hopp family, and his background was

very unusual.

With bitterness, Nick slowly said, “Mr. Nathan, what a coincidence…”

Redd said in a deep voice, “You know him?”

“This guy is too arrogant and even dared to hold a gun to my head!”

“He has already broken the law!”

“Mr. Hanks, let these officers detain him, and I will deal with him gradually.”

Nick didn’t dare to respond.

Nathan said, “He is right. I aimed these two guns at his forehead. Mr. Hanks, do you have any objection?”

Everyone sneered and felt Nathan was asking for a consequence he couldn’t bear.

“I… dare not!” Nick trembled slightly and said.

Luna’s eyes widened in surprise. She never expected that Nick would be so cowardly in front of Nathan.

Nick might want to kill Redd if he weren’t from the Dracodise. He didn’t expect Redd to ask him to deal with a man even his

father didn’t dare to mess with.

Redd and the others were shocked by what Nick had said.

“Don’t dare?” Redd was taken aback. “Mr. Hanks, are you kidding?!”

Nathan was displeased. He had been a dedicated prison guard for many years, and he had dealt with the work in the prison

perfectly.

However, after he left the prison, he found that the world differed from what he knew.

Many people always relied on their power or background to show off and even bullied the weak ones.

Besides, his date with Hannah was interrupted, which made him even more unhappy. So, he decided to teach Nick a lesson that he would never forget.

“You want to show off to everyone that you have a father who is the chief police officer, don’t you? Do you think you’re powerful?” Nathan asked.

“No, of course not. I… this is a misunderstanding.” Nick forced a smile.

Nathan slapped Nick’s face and said coldly, “Kneel before you talk to me!”

Nick flustered in fear and knelt in front of Nathan.

The others wanted to scold Nathan for being rude when he slapped Nick, and several officers were ready to take action.

But the next moment, Nick actually knelt in front of Nathan!

Everyone couldn’t believe their eyes and looked at each other in shock. Even the officers were full of astonishment.

Nick knew very well that he could boss around Mimar City because of his father’s background.

If he offended Nathan and caused his father to lose his job, he could never do the same again.

Nathan continued, “Your father’s power should be used to protect the property and personal safety of the citizens. You shouldn’t use it to pretend to be a badass. Understand?”
