Chapter 161 Small World

“Slow down. I need to fix my makeup.”

Gussie sat in the back. She took out the powder box, and began to fix her makeup.

Nathan shook his head and said, “You don’t need to be so formal. You will be admitted!”

Gussie frowned and said in a cold voice, “You don’t understand. The salary offered by Poly Capital this time is really attractive.

Many outstanding people from all over the country come to apply for the job.”

“Although my background is not bad, and I’m capable, it’s a little hard to stand out among so many people!”

Nathan said, “I said you will be admitted, then you will be admitted.”

“What are you so sure? Are you the boss of Poly Capital?” Gussie put down the powder box and was a little speechless.

“You’re right. I’m the boss of Poly Capital. Since you are Natalie’s friend, why should I refuse you?” Nathan said calmly.

Gussie almost laughed out loud. She asked, “Will the Gussie Reagan’s boss drives a Passat?!”

When she first met him at the airport yesterday, she didn’t have a good impression of Nathan. She felt that this man was lecherous. He had married Natalie, but he still couldn’t control leering at other girls.

At the dinner table, Natalie complained to her about Nathan’s character again, which made her look down on him even more.

“Sure enough. Natalie is right. He is vain and boastful. How dare he say he’s the boss of Poly Capital!” Gussie shook her head and thought in her mind.

If Nathan was the boss of Poly Capital, why would he pick up her who was applying to be his assistant?

Nathan looked calm. He said, “My company’s management staff take orders from me. They won’t refuse when I ask them to hire you.”

Gussie waved her hand and said, “Alright. Fine. I know you are capable. Stop bragging.”

“I think you should just say the mysterious boss of Poly Capital is you.”

“Ha ha…”

Nathan was in silence.

After Gussie finished fixing makeup, she put away the powder box and said, “Have you ever thought about the future of Natalie and you?”

Nathan said, “Yes, but there seems to be a big gap between us.”

“No, you’re wrong. It’s not a gap!” Gussie denied him assuredly.

“Huh?” Nathan asked in bewilderment.

“That’s a world of difference, like heaven and an underground.”

“To put it bluntly, it’s like a toad wishing to swallow a swan.”

“How do you think a wretched prison guard, a broken–down rich man can match the president in charge of Johnson Group?”

Gussie didn’t have any respect for Nathan. She felt he was not suitable for Natalie at all. So she wanted to push, so they could break up early, which would let Natalie suffer less.

Nathan did not speak. Gussie added, “You are two worlds.”

Nathan smiled with his eyes narrowed. He said, “What I hate the most is your last sentence.”

That sentence was said by Jade, Natalie, and Natasha. He didn’t remember if Hannah said it. Now it was Gussie’s turn.

Nathan was very curious about why they had such a sense of superiority. Did they all live on Mars? Because they said they were two worlds.

“You’re not in a position to hate. If you want to deserve Natalie, you need to have the same ability and wealth as Mr. Secret!” Gussie said indifferently.

“Haha…” Nathan couldn’t help laughing. He was Mr. Secret. Why bother to work hard?
