Chapter 184 Put on Airs

The incident was too dramatic. Poly Capital had just been seized, but it was unsealed in a blink of an eye. The process was truly mind–blowing.

Mr. Giles undoubtedly became the most unlucky person. He had a wish to curry favor with Harry, yet he ended up with

nothing.

Jason secretly rejoiced that he appeared late enough, and that Angelina interrupted him in the middle. Otherwise, he would hardly get himself out of the mess.

“It’s good to see you’re fine. I’m off now,” Angelina breathed a sigh of relief, and said to Nathan.

“Thank you for coming to help me, Ms. Hopp.” Nathan nodded and waved goodbye to her.

After Angelina left, Nathan entertained David and Ryan in the reception room.

Hannah was busy dealing with company affairs, such trifles as the serving of tea naturally became Gussie’s duty.

A secretary of Gussie’s level didn’t need to do these things. However, they were short–handed now, so she could only undertake this.

“I didn’t expect Mr. Young to be so respectful to Nathan. It’s incredible…” Gussie made tea and served it to the other people with a secret feeling of wonder in her heart.

David took the cigarette from Ryan, and said to Nathan, “Do you smoke, Mr. Evans?”

Nathan shook his head, and reached for the ashtray on the far side of the table.

At this moment, Gussie was leaning over the other end of the table, pouring tea for David.

The moment Nathan’s hand grasped the ashtray, her gigantic boobs landed on Nathan’s hand.

Just at that moment, Gussie’s body bounced upwards like an electric shock, widening the distance between her and Nathan.

At the same time, her eyes flicked to Nathan, full of coldness and warning.

Nathan couldn’t help but smile wryly. He didn’t do it on purpose. He was trying to get the ashtray, but how could he have thought that Gussie would bend down to pour the tea?

“Use this, the ashtray is quite big,” Nathan said as he pushed the ashtray in front of David.

Gussie just felt that his words were a bit inexplicable. The ashtray was quite big?

She couldn’t help but glare at Nathan again, thinking that this guy had gone a bit too far.

Nathan felt quite aggrieved in his heart. How dare his secretary stare at him like this?

Shouldn’t the secretary be submissive to the boss?

Gussie sat down directly at the side, keeping far away from Nathan. She obviously regarded him as a pervert.

“Mr. Young is so hectic, but you came to me again and again. Visiting our Poly Capital isn’t your only purpose, right?” Nathan

took a sip of the tea made by Gussie and asked.

Gussie listened carefully, feeling a little curious about what was going on.

David chuckled and said, “I have some important matters to discuss with Mr. Evans. Ms. Reagan, can you take my secretary

around first?”

Gussie was stunned for a moment. She knew that David obviously meant to send away all outsiders.

Although she was very curious, she couldn’t say no. So she just nodded and led Ryan out of the living room.

“Here is the thing. Do you know Thunder West?” David asked.

“Thunder West? Nope,” Nathan said with pouted lips.

David was stunned.

Nathan added, “Just kidding. How could anyone not know Thunder? The person who was awarded the Medal of Guardian of Hechland, and the big shot in Emperia City.”

David nodded, feeling queer inside. After all, no one had dared to talk to him in that way for years and to make such silly jokes.

On second thought, after all, Nathan was once a member of the Evans family. Maybe he saw a lot of high–ranking officials and rich people when he was a child, so he didn’t feel surprised to hear any big shots.

“Actually it was Mr. West who sent me here,” said David..
