Chapter 195 Twenty Million Dollars
Flavia stared at Nathan and asked with a ferocious face, “Do you want to do it yourself, or should I have someone help you?”
Nathan frowned and then retorted, “Are you nuts? I did it because you were riding a horse to hit Gussie. Now it’s my fault instead of yours?”
Flavia said coldly, “I spent twelve million dollars buying the Ferghana horse from Arabach, so it would be an honor for Gussie to be killed by a noble horse.”
Nathan found it funny and asked, “Do you know the law and the act of rescue? Life is greater than anything else. Even if I killed an endangered animal, I would not be guilty.”
“He is out of his mind. He not only saved the enemy of Miss Flavia but also spoke so arrogantly. I think he is bringing about his own destruction.”
“If he gets down on his knees to Miss Flavia and kowtows to her obediently, maybe she’ll let him go when she’s in a good
mood.”
“That’s right. He can’t compare with the daughter of the Reagan family in Rikkus. How dare he speak like that? He will be doomed.”
After hearing what Nathan said, everyone shook their heads, thinking that he was so ignorant of flattery that he dared to provoke the member of the Reagan family.
“You’ve called Gussie a b*stard more than once, so I don’t think you’re noble. You’re not a b*stard?” Nathan asked with a
sneer.
Flavia laughed and said, “Young b*stard, you are courageous. You are the first man to talk to me like that.”
The surrounding people were taken aback. After all, she was Flavia, the daughter of the Reagan family.
The Reagan family was a dominant force, and even the reactionary gangs dared not disobey them.
As the old saying goes, the powerful were even difficult to deal with local forces. However, the Reagan family was an exception. Local forces dared not provoke them wherever they were.
“If you don’t have anything to do, just get out of here and stop showing off your superiority,” said Nathan.
“Superiority? You’ve hurt my Ferghana horse. Is that how you’re gonna cover it up? Why should I let you go?” asked Flavia.
Looking at the horse which was lying on the ground and couldn’t get up, her eyes became colder, and she clenched her fingers.
Nathan narrowed his eyes and said, “I would have taken the same action if the horse was worth 120 million dollars, let alone that it’s only worth 12 million dollars. Life is greater than anything else. It’s all your fault that you were trying to ram your
horse into someone.”
Flavia sniffed, “What?
Hahaha…”
“You’re telling me it’s my fault?”
“I did want to kill her, a wishful b*stard. Even if I did it, no one would dare accuse me.
It would be her honor to be killed by my horse.”
“You’ve saved her and hurt my horse, so that’s your fault.”
Flavia responded arrogantly and pointed at Gussie, “You can ask her if she dares to think that this is my fault?!”
Sure enough, Gussie didn’t dare say anything. She was so timid in front of Flavia that Nathan found it strange.
After all, Gussie treated him cruelly regardless that he was her boss.
Nathan thought to himself, “Could it be that she is only callous to those close to her?”
“The Reagan family is right about everything. We can’t afford to provoke them.”
“Yeah, apologizing and admitting your mistake is the only option.”
“To provoke the family is to bring about your own destruction. They are so rich and powerful that it is a piece of cake to kill a
man.”
After hearing what Flavia said, people did not feel strange but thought it was normal. The Reagan family ought to be arrogant and domineering.
Gussie gritted her teeth and finally said, “If you want revenge, take it out on me. I don’t want to bring anyone else into
trouble.”
