Chapter 353 Julian Joined Poly Capital
The resume was Julian’s. He went to Poly Capital to apply for the job.
People like Julian, who had many glorious moments, would be popular when they applied for a job in any company.
Therefore, Gussie didn’t make decisions and directly handed his resume to Nathan’s desk.
Nathan thought Julian was really clever. He was rejected yesterday while he went to the company to apply for the job today.
“Don’t admit him,” Nathan said calmly.
“Why?” Gussie was stunned for a moment as she thought Julian was a talent.
Nathan said, “I’m the boss. Do I need to explain to a secretary?”
Gussie immediately became angry. She said, “Even the boss can’t act arbitrarily. Otherwise, why do you need a secretary? Julian is exactly the one our company needs. You need to give me a reason for not accepting him before I go to tell him!”
Nathan also got angry. He said, “I already said I don’t admit him. Or you can set up a company to recruit him!”
Gussie gritted her teeth and looked at Nathan. “No, you have to give me a valid reason! He is a rare talent. We can’t miss this chance.”
Nathan couldn’t help sighing. “Alright. You win… He wants to take me as his teacher, but I don’t want to. So I don’t want to
recruit him.”
Gussie was stunned.
“I understand, but don’t take it personally! The company is not owned by you alone. Everyone makes a living by working in this company.”
“So, I don’t agree with your proposal!”
“I think we should recruit him and entrust him with important tasks.”
Gussie was very serious about work. She did feel Julian was a rare talent. It would be a pity not to accept him.
Nathan said angrily, “Hey, why should I listen to you?”
Gussie still insisted. She even smacked Nathan’s desk and said she would recruit Julian into the company no matter what.
“If you stick to your view, I will pass this resume to Ms. Wendy!”
“She has more controlling stake in Poly Capital.”
“I believe she will support my decision!”
In the end, Gussie pulled out her big guns.
Nathan smiled helplessly and said, “Alright. Let’s hire him first and see if he is capable, okay? Ms. Reagan!”
Gussie smiled in satisfaction. “That’s it! Mr. Evans, you have to put the company first, and then take care of your personal grudge.”
Nathan knew Gussie cared about Poly Capital a lot as this company was an important platform for her which was related to her future.
So he was not very angry when Gussie smacked the desk to argue with him.
He just felt she was a little insolent. He could be persuaded, but he felt uncomfortable when she used such a tough attitude and even threatened him by mentioning Wendy.
Why couldn’t she persuade him in a softer way?
If she flirted with him or asked him out, he must agree instantly!
In that case, everyone wouldn’t feel embarrassed.
“Fool.” Nathan couldn’t help but comment on his heart. Then he was a little proud as he could finally comment on others.
