Chapter 383 I Am Serious
Nathan came straight back to the office after a quick trip around the 81st Division to organize a training session.
As he passed through the lobby, he saw Julian sitting on the couch, his body rising and falling.
On closer inspection, he saw that Julian’s buttocks weren’t even touching the sofa. He was making the horse stance there.
“Practicing during work hours? Should I teach him a lesson? Well… Forget it. It’s rare to see a guy that works hard.” Nathan thought about it, smiled and went straight back into the office.
In the office, there was another pile of papers waiting to be signed. Although he had delegated his authority to Hannah, after
all, he was the legal entity of the company. Some documents had to be handled by him.
Hannah came into the office with a pile of papers in her arms and said, “These all need to be signed. Get them done as soon as
possible. Then I can get Gussie to handle them.”
Nathan complained, “It’s troublesome…”
“You just need to sign. Why are you to complain?” Hannah said in an unpleasant voice, taking a piece of paper and giving him a light tap on the head.
She was the one who was so busy, working overtime so often. She sometimes had to work through the night when she got
home.
Lately, she felt like she’d paled away and lost two kilos.
Nathan smiled shyly, pressed Hannah’s shoulder and said, “Ms. Ranchy, thanks for your hard work. I’ll give you a raise or more shares later!”
Hannah smiled at Nathan and held out her hand in a fist–clenching gesture, saying, “I want all!”
“Aren’t you too greedy?” Nathan found her imitation of himself amusing.
“I learned to be greedy from you!” Hannah said meaningfully.
Nathan’s heart pounded. He wondered if she had sensed something. Why was there an implicit danger in those words?
“When things with the Giradia Group are over, I’ll give you all the shares. You’ll be the boss here!” Nathan said.
“Are you
serious?” Hannah was surprised. Those shares were worth billions.
Nathan shrugged and said, “Of course, I’m not kidding you. I’m tired of coming to work at the company. Besides, I have more important things to do.”
He was ready to focus his development on the new identity he had just acquired. This identity would be more beneficial for his future development.
The business would be handled by Hannah. Natalie was also a strong businesswoman!
Hannah didn’t know what to say. She was angry and touched at the same time. She was angry that he took the company so lightly. She was touched that he gave her such valuable shares.
“Let’s talk about it,” Hannah responded with a smile.
Nathan said, “Ms. Ranchy, what are you busy with the last few days? You didn’t come back home at night these days?”
Hannah said, “Well… I’m helping my mother contact some people. And there’s been quite a lot of work.”
“Oh, by the way, my mother is hosting a party today. You have to attend.”
“We’ll go there together after work later.”
Nathan frowned and asked, “What kind of party is your mother hosting?”
Hannah said, “She’s trying to make some connections in Mimar City, so she can run some operations when she gets back to
Rikkus. I don’t know exactly.”
Nathan nodded and said, “Okay, I’ll attend then.”
Nathan was now a big figure in the whole of Neva Province. After all, the ten billion dollars of investment in Giradia Group was quite a big deal.
Moreover, James‘ death was more or less related to him. Although there was no evidence to prove it, many people speculated
that he had done it.
