The greatest man alive novel (by Maverick Bowman) novel Chapter 465

Natasha was an evenly matched opponent with Wendy before. But now she was defeated and had been treated like a prisoner by Nathan. She hadn’t imagined Wendy would say something cruel like that when they met again.

A sense of frustration welled up in her heart.

“I just want to relax today. Why are you here?” Nathan shrugged and explained.

Then he turned around and walked to the hot tub.

Wendy followed him into the room while taking off her bathrobe. She was wearing a white one-piece swimsuit. The soft fabric outlined her smooth skin and gorgeous muscles, which were pleasing to the eye. She was curvy, and her butt was like a masterpiece. It was bouncy, and no man could refuse an ass like that.

She untied her bun while walking, and her long silky black hair was down. At that moment, she looked like a goddess descended from heaven.

Natasha was aware that she was not pretty and elegant like Wendy.

It was understandable though. Natasha was forced to stay by Nathan’s side, not by choice.

Wendy had just won this unrivaled business battle, so it could be said that she was full of herself. But Natasha was the opposite. Her normal life was disrupted, and with the overwhelmingly humiliating feeling that she had gone through, she looked somber and lifeless.

Wendy frowned as she saw the water splashed out and walked to the other tub.

The room had a backyard, and others couldn’t get in. There were two tubs. One was relatively large and several people could bathe in it, and the other was small, only fit for two or three people.

Apparently, Wendy knew what had happened in the big tub and walked to the other one.

Seeing Wendy’s reaction, Natasha was abashed. She was looked down upon by her former rival.

Soon after Wendy walked into the tub, a waitress came in with two trays of fine wine. She placed one next to Wendy and the other near Nathan.

”It’s almost Christmas. You should have worked overtime before it,” Wendy said casually and poured a glass of wine to herself.

The wine there wasn’t strong, yet rich in flavor. Drinking fine wine in a bathtub was always a treat.

Nathan signaled Natasha to pour him a glass of wine.

Natasha gritted her teeth, but she still gave him what he wanted with a thunderous face. She also poured herself a glass, took a big gulp, and forced herself to calm down.

“Now can you tell me why you are here?” Nathan asked Wendy.

“I just registered a pharmaceutical company and signed a contract with the pharmaceutical factory. I decided to give it to you.”

“What are you doing? I am just human! I am already swamped dealing with Poly Capital! I can’t handle a pharmaceutical company! It’s too much!”

“There are hardly any advanced pharmaceutical companies in Neva Province, and most of the supplies for major hospitals are from out-of-town companies. This profit will be huge, and I have been eyeing it for a long time. We can’t let it go… Besides, this proposal was sent to my mailbox by your woman. Blame her, not me!”

Nathan was taken aback for a moment. He didn’t know Hannah proposed it. She had mentioned it to Jessica before, but he didn’t take it seriously.

“And you said you were busy? As far as I know, Hannah was dealing with almost all of the paperwork and making critical decisions for Poly Capital. She has to work two hours of overtime almost every day…”

“Gussie was handling other not-so-important work I heard she doesn’t even have time for her live streaming and is busy with paperwork all day… So why are you so busy?”

Wendy stared at Nathan and pointed out.
