The greatest man alive novel (by Maverick Bowman) novel Chapter 473

It was a memorable New Year’s Eve for Wendy. Although the gift was only a box of tens of dollars of fireworks, it was very precious. At least someone cared about her.

But it was not a beautiful day for Gussie. She was beaten hard every day and even had a fever. After taking ibuprofen, she fell into a deep sleep under the covers. In the middle of the night, she broke out in a sweat and shivered from the cold.

”I’m so cold!” Gussie said shiveringly and touched Nathan.

”Are you that cold? Not a big problem. You’ve already sweated and will be fine tomorrow…” said Nathan, “Take off your clothes so as not to get cold again.”

Gussie hesitated and said, ”Now?”

Nathan said, “Of course.”

Gussie thought he hadn’t crossed the line for the past few days when they were on the same bed. So she took off her clothes under the quilt and carefully stretched out an arm to put it on the bedside.

After taking off the clothes covered in sweat, she felt much more comfortable. But she was still cold, and her body was covered with goosebumps.

Nathan touched her arm and hugged her whole body.

Gussie tensed up immediately, like a bowstring. She dared not move and almost stopped breathing.

“It’ll make you feel warm. Don’t touch me,” Nathan turned that around.

Gussie was speechless but felt he was as warm as a stove. Their skin was touching, and the heat was transmitted, gradually warming her whole body. She felt embarrassed and turned around silently.

“Why does it feel a bit like being at the newsstand when it was raining heavily that day?” Nathan couldn’t help laughing and gently blew warm air into Gussie’s ear.

Gussie’s ears immediately turned red, and her whole face flushed. She trembled and dared not speak for fear that Nathan would make the next move.

She was only wearing a bra, and Devendill Prison was his territory. So she was like a lamb to slaughter.

“Can you fulfill your promise that day?” Nathan asked restlessly.

Gussie wanted to beat him to death. She felt so uncomfortable, but he still wanted to take advantage of her.

And… Nathan still took advantage of her. He put both his hands on it.

Anyway, Gussie had made a promise before, and he was just letting her fulfill it.

Nathan’s palms were sweating, but it was warm sweat.

It was about three minutes before twelve o’clock in the middle of the night.

The prisoners happily lit firecrackers and fireworks. The dark and quiet prison suddenly became lively, and colorful lights came in from the windows.

Looking at the fireworks outside the window, Gussie felt everything was unreal. She had been alone for many years, but this New year, she shared a bed with a man and let him hug her inappropriately. But she didn’t feel any disgust at all. Even though she lied to herself that she hated him, she didn’t feel that way.

“Don’t…” Gussie said in a trembling voice and lightly pressed Nathan’s wrist.

She wasn’t coy but really meant it.

Nathan didn’t take the next step. Although he wanted to take advantage of her, he should show some respect.

“Is there another chance next time?” Nathan asked.

He felt a little regretful, thinking it was a wonderful and memorable moment that he should seize.
