Nathan didn’t ask Vladimir to fire Chess. Instead, he allowed Chess to continue working in the pharmacy department.
A person who was scared to death should know more about respect. Chess thanked Nathan and left in embarrassment.
Vladimir said, “Mr. Evans, I’m really sorry. It’s been a busy day. I didn’t expect it to happen.”
Nathan said, “We all make mistakes.”
Vladimir wiped the sweat from his forehead and smiled. “Mr. Evans, business at my clinic is very good. We can deepen our cooperation.”
“There were many people in the Méreau Clinic, including some famous celebrities. In this way, the clinic would be more famous. The clinic would probably be one of the most popular ones in Hechland from now on. You’ll have to sort out your appointments. In three days, the patients will be waiting in line for a month or two…” Nathan complimented as he followed Vladimir around the hospital.
“Yeah!” Vladimir was very happy.
Patients had difficulty scheduling appointments at some of Hechland’s larger, better-known hospitals. They even had to wait three months in line.
The Méreau Clinic had made a name for itself, and it was sure to be very popular.
”Well, we’ve got work to do, and the shipment won’t be delayed,” Nathan said.
“Of course, Mr. Evans!” Vladimir walked Nathan and the others to the parking lot.
With a wave of his hand, Nathan left with his people.
Vladimir breathed a sigh of relief. It was a good thing Nathan was forgiving, otherwise he’d be to blame.
Nathan was sitting next to Gussie in the car when her phone rang.
Gussie was stunned after she answered the phone.
“What’s wrong?” Nathan asked.
“Mr. Evans, did you do something? We’re being asked to administer medicines to a number of branches in the Rosefinch War Zone!” Gussie looked at Nathan in surprise.
Nathan was stunned and frowned. He didn’t have the means to contact those hospitals. He wondered who was behind this. Suddenly, he thought of Jade.
Jade said she would return the favor to him. He had taught her a good trick, and this was the way she repaid him, in what could be described as a timely help.
Nathan smiled and said, “If they want to cooperate with us, why should we hesitate?”
Gussie said, “I can’t help feeling that something is not right about this…”
Nathan said, “It’s a good thing that you are alert, but there’s nothing wrong with it.”
Gussie felt relieved and talked to the other end of the phone.
“I’ve got a few more tricks. Should I teach her more and make some more money from her?” Nathan had an evil thought.
