Nathan asked Hannah to drive him back. After all, Natalie had already left, and he didn’t have a car.
“You got to invite me for coffee, for I drove you home!” Hannah said angrily.
Nathan acted like he was ungrateful and was to ask Hannah to leave, which made her very angry.
“Okay.” Nathan thought for a while, invited Hannah into his home, and then made her a cup of coffee.
Hannah was just about to chat with him when Nathan said he would take a bath.
“What a naive man!” Hannah was mad and clenched her fists, thinking of busting his head.
When Nathan got out of the shower, Hannah had finished drinking her coffee.
He frowned and asked, “Haven’t you left yet?!”
Hannah’s nose contorted with rage, and she said in a muffled voice, “There is someone outside the door…”
“Who is it?” Nathan looked at the monitor and curled his lips.
As expected, it was Jade again!
“She is outside the door, so I dare not leave.” Hannah found an excuse to stay.
“It’s up to you.” Nathan didn’t say much, turned off the monitor, and directly lay down on the sofa.
Hannah said, “Why don’t you meet her? She will know the person in this villa is not who she is looking for. Then she will not come again.”
But Nathan said, “Why do I bother? Isn’t it good to make her come a few more times and be uncomfortable?”
Hannah was completely speechless upon hearing that.
“Mr. Wolfgang… One cannot always live in the shadow of the past. I believe your deceased comrades-in-arms certainly don’t want to see you complaining about yourself like this!”
“Please see me once. I can give you a better chance to shine!”
Jade still kept talking, thinking the person in the villa was Rudolph Wolfgang.
“Rudolph Wolfgang doesn’t want to be back in the game. He just wants to live the rest of his life in peace,” Nathan just sneered after he listened to Jade.
Hannah couldn’t help asking, “Who is Rudolph Wolfgang? What made General Perkins come to see him in person? And she has come a few times…”
“Rudolph Wolfgang? A psycho who often went crazy in prison. Of course, he was often hung up on a telephone pole and beaten by me,” Nathan thought for a while and said.
Hannah was speechless and didn’t know whether Nathan was telling a lie.
“Wait…” Hannah called Nathan, who was about to go back to the room.
“What’s wrong?” Nathan asked casually.
“Come and have a look.” Hannah held the phone and said solemnly.
Nathan sat beside her, looked down at the page on the phone, and frowned.
The news said several celebrities related to Johnson Group simultaneously terminated their contracts with Johnson Group. Moreover, Grace published a lengthy article to disparage Natalie, the president of the Johnson Group.
It said that Natalie was a freeloader who asked her to speak for Johnson Group for free. Grace wrote some other nasty things about Natalie. There were a lot of curses in the comments section, all cursing the early bankruptcy of Johnson Group.
