The greatest man alive novel (by Maverick Bowman) novel Chapter 75

The secretary sent by Grace was invited into the conference room.

“Miss Secretary, please tell Miss Cole that we will definitely find a way to get her forgiveness. Please give us some time.” Bailey said hastily.

The secretary gave Bailey a weird look, ignored her, and said to Natalie, “Ms. Natalie, I’m really sorry. Miss Cole doesn’t feel well today and can’t come here in person.”

Natalie knew why Grace didn’t feel well. After all, Negino had just slapped her on the face, and it was probably swollen by now.

“Never mind What’s the matter?” Natalie asked politely.

“It’s like this… Miss Cole has already written an apology letter. Please read it. Also, there is an endorsing contract with your company for free, and finally, a compensation of 6 million dollars.” The secretary took out three things, an apology letter, a contract, and a check.

The secretary’s words made the entire board of directors quiet.

Just now, they were going to watch Natalie being embarrassed, but they didn’t expect the secretary to come here not to cause trouble but to apologize. They were curious how Natalie made Grace bow and scrape to such an extent.

Bailey was dumbfounded at this scene, as if her face were slapped hard, making her feel extremely uncomfortable.

Old Mr. Johnson couldn’t help but frown deeply. Initially, he was about to discuss how to get Grace’s forgiveness. But he did not expect Natalie had already settled.

“No. Seriously? Natalie offended Miss Cole so badly. Then Miss Cole doesn’t do anything else but forgive her now?” Bailey said in shock.

“Miss Cole sincerely apologizes to you, and we hope you can accept it…” The secretary ignored Bailey and said to Natalie.

“What? Miss Cole apologizes to Natalie?”

The executives were stunned again, and their minds went blank. They needed help figuring out the current situation.

Nathan helped Natalie take the things from the secretary and said, “We already received her apology. You can go back to tell her that this is the end of the matter.”

“I see, Mr. Evans,” The secretary replied politely and then left.

Nathan turned his head, looked at Bailey indifferently, and said, “Kneel, and call me dad.”

“What? You asked me to kneel and call you dad? What qualifies you to ask me to do that? You dirty prison guard!” Bailey said in shock and anger.

“Just now, you have already made a bet with me. You said that if we settle this matter, you will kneel and call me dad,” Nathan said calmly, “Everyone heard it. Are you going to renege now?”

Bailey’s face was filled with a mixed look of anger and fear, and even her father Reif’s face darkened. Bailey was his daughter.

If she knelt to a young man and called him dad, how would others view them?

Bailey sneered, “So what? What can you do if I’m being cheeky?”

“This is the Johnson Group, and it’s the property of our Johnson family. I can do whatever I want to! I reneged on my words, and you don’t like it? If so, what can you do?”

Nathan turned his head to look at Old Mr. Johnson and said, “Old Mr. Johnson, what do you think?”

Old Mr. Johnson pretended not to hear it, but obviously, he favored Bailey.

Natalie was also a little angry at this time. She knew very well that with Bailey’s overbearing personality if Nathan failed, she would force him to death. However, after Nathan won, she went back on her words and did it so openly and shamelessly, making people feel disgusted.

The most important thing was that the executives and Old Mr. Johnson were also deliberately partial to Bailey, as if this incident had never happened.

“Oh… Forget it… I will tear up all these things, and you can take yourselves as winners,” Nathan raised his hand with a smile and tore up the apology letter.

Old Mr. Johnson’s eyelids trembled violently, and the executives were also shocked.
