The greatest man alive novel (by Maverick Bowman) novel Chapter 91

Angelina’s birthday banquet would be held on the cruise ship.

The cruise ship was now hundreds of kilometers away from the shore, and it would take about an hour or so for a helicopter to arrive. Surely this was what the life of a rich family was like.

After the three of them boarded the helicopter, a few of the invited wealthy families also boarded the helicopter. The seats inside immediately became crowded, and Hannah, Natalie, and Nathan could only sit in a row.

“Sit across from me,” Natalie pursed her lips and spoke.

Nathan didn’t care, but Hannah pulled him to sit next to her, away from Natalie.

“It’s better for the three of us to sit together. Although Mr. Evans is not wearing a suit, his plain clothes are not sloppy.” Hannah said generously.

Natalie looked at Hannah in surprise. A while ago, her best friend had even scoffed at Nathan.

Why did her attitude change so soon now?

She was not willing to sit beside him. Instead, she was very happy with that. Moreover, she even spoke up for him.

Only then did Nathan understand that Natalie most likely felt that he was dressed poorly, so she did not want to sit with him. However, he did not care much about these trivial things. He just smiled faintly and put it aside.

When the few people who just got on the helicopter saw Nathan dressed in casual clothes, they were all surprised, some were disdainful, and some were puzzled.

This was the first time that Mr. Hopp held such a birthday party for his daughter, and this person only wore casual clothes?

What was going on?

Seeing the eyes of those people, Natalie could not help but feel awkward. Fortunately, there was no label like “Natalie is my wife” on Nathan’s forehead.

Hannah was very generous, taking off her headphones and talking and laughing with Nathan.

“Mr. Evans, if you don’t have suitable clothes for this kind of occasion next time, just call me. I will ask the tailor to make it for you, or buy ready-made ones,” Hannah said with a smile.

“No need, I don’t like wearing formal clothes.” Nathan said lightly, not caring about these things at all.

As the helicopter rose into the sky and reached the surface of the sea, everyone looked out of the window. The endless sea scenery made people feel relaxed. However, there was also a strong wind in the sky, and the helicopter shook violently.

Hannah’s body was thrown into Nathan’s arms, and her left hand subconsciously pushed to the side. Coincidentally, she was supporting Nathan’s lower abdomen, and her graceful body directly hit him.

Oh… What the hell!

Nathan couldn’t help but let out a low growl, but fortunately, the sound of the propeller turning was loud enough. Everyone was wearing headphones to reduce the noise, so they couldn’t hear it at all.

Hannah hurriedly pulled back her hand, her face full of embarrassment.

Natalie took off her headphones and said loudly, “Hannah, are you alright?”

“I’m fine, I’m fine…” Hannah hurriedly said.

When Natalie saw that Nathan’s expression wasn’t right, she also wanted to greet her, but after thinking about it, she decided against it.

Seeing the slight pain on Nathan’s face, Hannah asked, “Are you okay? Did I hurt you? Do you want me to rub it for you?”

“You can rub your head into oncoming traffic!” Nathan snapped back.

His defense skills had not been practiced to such an extent. In addition, it was a sudden attack and he was not prepared at all. He took a few deep breaths to relieve his pain.

Hannah also felt a little guilty.

Half of her body leaned against Nathan’s arm, and she said apologetically, “Sorry, Mr. Evans, I didn’t do it on purpose! If you are not satisfied, I will let you hit me too.”
