Just then, Gregory and Anthony arrived.
The two had something to report to Richard but saw Ronald there when they arrived, so they did not rush to report.
Gregory and Anthony knew Ronald. After all, the weapons dealer Ronald had worked with Dorodo’s city defense army for a long time, so they were familiar with each other. However, Ronald made business deals with the last commander-in-chief, so Gregory and Anthony said nothing after seeing Ronald.
“You came just in time. Check out this list and see if there is any problem. Let me know if there’s anything else that the army needs. I can add it in,” Richard said as he beckoned to Gregory and Anthony.
Gregory and Anthony hesitated. Then they picked up the list and looked over it carefully.
The two knew Richard showed them the list to let them know there was nothing shady about their deal with the weapons dealer, Ronald.
They were all supplies for Dorodo’s city defense army. They could avoid a lot of trouble by being transparent about their finances.
Anthony and Gregory were touched after figuring out Richard’s intention. It was because the last commander-in-chief was not as careful and considerate to his subordinates as Richard. Even Commander Hanson Lupin did not do that!
Putting the list down, Anthony said in a slightly hoarse voice, “We’ve gone over the list. Commander Lennon, the supplies you’ve listed are complete. We don’t have anything to add.”
“Oh, that’s a relief…” Richard nodded before saying to Ronald, “Send over the army supplies on this list as soon as possible, and the money will be credited to your bank account when the supplies arrive.”
“Thanks, Commander Lennon!” Ronald smiled from ear to ear and nodded.
