Aria regretted it slightly after hearing Jagoan’s words. It was because Jagoan was telling the truth.
When they first met at Dorodo’s downtown mall, Jagoan could say he had no animosity with Aria.
They had never met before. However, just because she wanted to steal the show from Shania, Aria ordered Lowich to attack and teach Jagoan a lesson, which resulted in Jagoan beating Lowich with one move and humiliating her.
As a result, the two had bad blood with each other. No matter what, it was only a small matter and a dispute caused by personal feelings.
Moreover, Aria learned Jagoan’s identity later and that he was not a mere bodyguard but the commander-in-chief of Dorodo’s city defense army. He’s one of Dorodo’s two leaders.
Even so, Aria did not care about Jagoan. She even was indifferent to him. Then at Mr. Royce‘s perfume store in Crosac, Aria forced Lowich to fight Jagoan to overpower Lisha.
This time, Lowich was prepared. He gave his best. Unfortunately, Lowich was still no match for Jagoan, and Jagoan beat him until he could not fight back.
Aria was greatly humiliated because of that. She hated Jagoan from then on. She even secretly vowed revenge.
In retrospect, even Aria found herself too emotional. She only looked for immediate pleasure and acted on impulse, so she failed repeatedly and pushed Jagoan to be her opponent and to her sister, Lisha’s side.
If Aria could go back in time, she would never do such a stupid thing.
However, there were not many what-ifs in this world.
She coughed, stared at Jagoan, and asked, “Enough of nonsense. I’m asking whether you would work for me. I can make you my bodyguard!”
With that said, Aria looked at Jagoan expectantly, waiting for his answer.
Aria knew very well what Jagoan was capable of. Lowich was already strong in Crosac. He had not had a rival in Crosac in years. However, the strong Lowich was like a helpless child in front of Jagoan.
Was that not enough to explain how strong Jagoan was?
Therefore, Aria was eager to have a subordinate like Jagoan. However, Jagoan laughed.
