The guests laughed harder as Elijah, Cole, and Dylan slunk away. They knew that the Walker family, the Stewart family, and the Lambert family’s reputation would plummet in Dorodo and never be the same again.
Besides, the Walker family, the Stewart family, and the Lambert family openly went against the commander-in-chief of the city defense army, Sonya, who also represented the Dorodo government. By doing so, the Walker family, the Stewart family, and the Lambert family were close to going against the Dorodo government.
They were now going to suffer!
The Walker family, the Stewart family, and the Lambert family would lose their status in Dorodo. Some of the guests could see that the gala would change the societal elite drastically in Dorodo.
The gala was over. Most of the guests had left, but a few remained.
Anderson and Bokir stood in front of Sonya, looking at him excitedly.
“Commander Josua, I don’t know what to say. I, Anderson Townsend, will never forget how you helped the Townsend family!” Anderson said heavily, his voice shaking with excitement.
Bokir also nodded and said, “Commander Josua, I thank you for my parents and siblings.”
“Alright, alright, it’s no big deal,” Sonya smiled as he waved his hand.
Anderson spoke seriously, “This may not be a big deal for you, but it’s a great deal to the Townsend family!”
“Yeah, my dad has always wanted to build a weapons factory that belongs to the Townsend family, but he wasn’t allowed to. Dorodo not only allows us to build a weapons factory this time but also supports us vigorously. How wonderful!” Bokir said excitedly.
Sonya straightened his expression and said to Anderson, “Don’t thank me. You should sort out your ideas for the weapons factory and submit the proposal to Mayor Lewis as soon as possible. Only then can Dorodo help you build your weapons factory as soon as possible.”
Anderson and Bokir thanked him again for some time more before leaving. Then Benedict and Monica went up to Sonya.
Monica hesitantly looked at Sonya and asked, “Commander Josua, about the closing and rectification of the factories in the slum you just said…”
Sonya did not hesitate and explained immediately. “I have been to the slum before. I realized that the slum is badly polluted. Many people there got sick because of the terrible living conditions. So there is no doubt that we need to focus on not only the slum’s economy but also pollution.”
