“This can’t go on. If we let that Sandra do whatever he wants, our families won’t have a future in Dorodo!” Cole said exasperatedly.
“Then tell me what we should do. We have businesses in other cities, but the ones in Dorodo were the biggest. Now that we’re restricted in Dorodo, our losses are more than 50%. Can you solve this problem?” Dylan asked in reply.
Elijah said nothing. He was deep in thought, trying to figure out what to do next. Cole had no idea what to do. He had never been calculating.
Just then, an old man rushed in.
The old man was the Walker family’s butler.
“Sir! Sir! We‘re in trouble! The city defense army has sent Young Master back! The three young masters had been beaten half to death and are now unconscious!”
Elijah, Cole, and Dylan’s expressions instantly turned ghastly when they heard this.
“Bring them in quickly!” Elijah ordered, and the servants soon carried Lionel, Solomon, and Nathan on stretchers into the small living room.
Elijah was heartbroken to see his son on a stretcher with bruises all over his back and legs!
Not only Elijah but Cole and Dylan also trembled in anger as their faces grew livid!
“We can’t solve the problem, so let’s solve the person who created the problem!” Cole snarled.
“I think so too…” Dylan nodded in agreement.
Elijah finally made up his mind after hearing that.
He glared fiercely through the window toward the city defense army’s main camp and roared, “Sandra Morten, the Walker family will not stop until you’re dead!”
Sandra and Omas arrived together at Dorodo’s slum in the west. It was only a day later, but the slum had changed tremendously.
Since all the factories and companies in the slum were closed for rectification, the poor did not need to work for the time being. However, they lost their income if they lost their job. Thus, Quentin opened Dorodo’s granary and distributed food at Sandra’s suggestion.
