Mr. Candour’s haughtiness made Vivian slightly upset.
Anita was even angrier than Vivian. He was Vivian’s subordinate and was loyal to Vivian.
How could he watch his commander be humiliated by an arrogant nobody and stay calm?
“We want that unit!” Anita spoke firmly without waiting for Vivian to speak.
Mr. Candour sneered after hearing Anita‘s words. “I tried to be respectful, but you don’t want it. Did you not hear what I just said? We’ve sold the unit!‘’
“If it’s sold, why is it still on sale?” Anita asked immediately.
According to the industry’s rules, sold units would have been labeled as sold and would not be labeled as on sale.
Estate agents would never recommend units that had been sold to the clients who were there to view units.
Therefore, he could tell that the unit had not been sold. Mr. Candour probably wanted to keep it all to himself or wanted to sell it to his friends, so he said it had already been sold.
Such things were not uncommon, but Anita could not bear the anger in his heart. However, Vivian was calm. When Anita wanted to talk, he raised his hand to stop him.
“Anita, Montana Real Estate isn’t the only real estate company in Dorodo. We can check out other real estate companies…” Vivian said and turned around to head for the exit.
Anita could only follow him.
Mr. Candour taunted loudly at Vivian and Anita’s back as they left, “Don’t look for houses if you can’t afford them. How dare two peasants think highly of themselves?”
Anita‘s anger grew upon hearing this.
“Calm down, Anita. Is it necessary to argue with nobodies like him?” Vivian said with a faint smile.
Anita froze slightly before lowering his head in shame and saying, “My state of mind is no match for yours, Commander. ”
Anita was about to open the clean and bright glass door for Vivian when they reached it, but a beautiful woman in a black formal dress walked over and was about to enter.
Anita and Vivian both knew her. She was Monica, the head of the Montana family-one of Dorodo’s top five families.
“Mrs. Montana, are you here to view units too?” Vivian asked, slightly surprised.
Monica froze before answering with a gentle smile, “No, I‘m not here to look for houses… Commander George, don’t you know Montana Real Estate belongs to the Montana family? I’m the head of the Montana family, so I’m also the chairman of Montana Real Estate. I’m here today to check the real estate sales department’s performance.”
“I see…” Vivian nodded.
