Elijah, Cole, and Dylan nervously paced up and down the living room.
A servant suddenly ran in and reported, “Sir, Commander Abraham has returned with the city defense army. He has rescued all the women who were taken away.”
“He’s alive?” Elijah’s expression changed dramatically when asking.
Cole and Dylan’s expressions looked ghastly. They did not expect Moana to be alive after such a perfect plan!
Not only was he alive, but all the kidnapped women were rescued!
“What do we do now?” Cole asked, flustered.
If people looked closely, they could see that Cole, who had always been arrogant, was pale. His lips were pale, his hands and feet were trembling, and his whole body was shaking. Especially his calves. The shaking was intense.
If he did not have one hand on the counter, maybe he could not even stand.
Dylan’s eyes were also full of horror.
“Don’t be afraid… Maybe our plan wasn’t exposed. Maybe Moana didn’t find out everything. We were careful, weren’t we? We didn’t contact the bandits or the two mercenary regiments directly but sent our subordinates to contact them. So Moana won’t have evidence of our crimes…” Elijah took a deep breath and said to Cole and Dylan.
Cole thought for a moment before nodding and saying, “Yeah, Moana’s not a god. How would he find out?”
“But there’s a risk we’ll get exposed anyway! Let’s pack up and leave Dorodo now! We can’t stay here anymore!” Dylan said and headed for the living room exit.
He wanted to hurry back to the Lambert family house and ask the Lambert family to pack up and leave Dorodo.
Elijah was going to do the same too. Once Dylan and Cole left, he was going to have the whole family pack up their belongings and transfer their assets as quietly and quickly as possible. However, as soon as he opened the door, Dylan saw someone they never wanted and dared to see, Moana Abraham!
Moana was standing outside the door with a smile on his face. He was not the only one there. The entire Walker family house was also surrounded.
“What’s the hurry? Mr. Lambert, why don’t you stay a little longer at Mr. Walker’s house with Mr. Stewart?” Moana asked with a smile.
“Is that so? When you say leave, do you mean you’re leaving the Walker family house or Dorodo?” Moana asked again.
Dylan’s smile grew even more awkward, and his whole face turned ghastly pale.
“C-Commander Abraham, w-why do you say that?”
Both Cole and Elijah were too scared to speak.
Dylan could still hold a conversation with Moana, and you could tell he was the mentally strongest of the three.
“Mr. Walker, Mr. Stewart, Mr. Lambert, you three hate me, and that’s all right. My efforts to combat poverty have hurt your interests and cut off your finances, so it’s only normal that you have grudges against me,” Moana said slowly, and his tone was also gentle.
