Anne had Dr. Humphrey’s medical books, so he felt nothing, but Omas was going crazy.
Now that Anne had said they were going out for a walk, Omas was thrilled, of course.
”Commander, you’re finally moving… Okay, okay, okay, we’ll go out now…” Omas quickly freshened up, left the hotel with Anne, and walked down Central Street.

Perhaps because it was Sunday today, there were a lot of pedestrians on the street. Most of them were a family of three leisurely walking on the streets or young couples walking hand in hand.
Midwich’s economy was much more prosperous than Dorodo, and it was indeed a Dragon Kingdom city as its financial power was much stronger than that of the City-State Union in the south.
Anne and Omas looked at the many shops on both sides of the street while walking leisurely and occasionally buying some food to try. Before they knew it, night fell.
When walking past a junction, there was suddenly the sound of braking and then a loud bang.
Anne and Omas immediately turned around and saw a horrible scene.
A red car hit a motorcycle and sent it flying. The motorcycle’s wreckage was scattered all over the road. A young man in a safety helmet lay unconscious on the ground while red blood poured from the wound in his thigh.
The female driver who got down from the car was standing nearby with a panicked look, but she did not know what to do.
“There’s been an accident! Commander!” Omas said quickly.
“You don’t have to tell me. I can see it myself…”
Anne immediately headed that way, and Omas hurried after him.
Traffic police were soon on the scene, and many passers-by crowded around, some already calling for an ambulance or filming on their phones.
