The guardian's sword by Taking Cigarette novel Chapter 1932

Sherman looked unassuming in casual attire, while his older brother, Clinton, wore a white lab coat, a typical doctor outfit.

Fiona could smell the medicine coming from him from a distance.

“It’s you!” Clinton looked blankly at Fiona and Morine as they walked in before frowning deeply.

“Lola, why did you bring him here?” Clinton turned to look at his sister Lola and asked angrily.

Lola knew Clinton would be angry because she already knew her brother was humiliated by Fiona.

She quickly said, “Clinton, Sherman told me to get Dr. Boneng.”

Lola immediately blamed Sherman.

Clinton instantly turned to glare at Sherman.

Sherman was in between tears and laughter. “Clinton, Grandpa’s illness matters the most. We shouldn’t give up even a sliver of hope for a cure. It’s why I asked Lola to invite Dr. Boneng. Clinton, is your pride more important than curing Grandpa?”

Clinton calmed down slightly after hearing Sherman. However, he was still upset with Fiona’s arrival.

He snorted coldly and said, “My pride isn’t as important as Grandpa, of course. But the problem is that I can cure Grandpa’s disease by myself. We don’t need him!”

With that said, Sherman pointed at Clinton. “Really? You haven’t started treatment since this morning. You’re not confident with curing Grandpa!”

Sherleen was also surprised to see Fiona and Morine. However, now was not the time for gossip.

She immediately said, “Clinton, Sherman has done the right thing. Your grandpa is seriously ill and even dying, so we must grasp any hope of a cure. There’s nothing wrong with Sherman asking Lola to invite Dr. Boneng.”

“But I can cure him!” Clinton fumed like a mad lion that was roaring.

He turned to look at Fiona and Morine, who had not spoken for a long time and said with a sneer, “Fiona, since you’re already here, watch and learn. Watch me cure my grandpa!”

“Suit yourself…” Fiona said flatly.

Clinton snorted angrily and ordered Sherman and Lola, “Wheel Grandpa out of the room. It’s too small to work in. Move him into the living room.”

Sherman and Lola looked at each other and entered the room together to wheel the former patriarch of the Yale family, Cedric, into the living room.
