Chapter 1994
Lyla stared at Sean in disbelief as the corners of her eyes began watering.
“You think I’m dirty!”
Lyla shouted and began crying.
“It’s not that I think you’re dirty. We’re in a new era. Who you want to sleep with is your choice. How are you dirty?” Sean said as he shook his head.
However, Lyla still said earnestly, “Then why won’t you… I’m giving it to you for nothing… You refused… Isn’t it because you think I’m dirty…”
“Didn’t you hear what I just said? There are many ways to repay me. It doesn’t have to be this.”
Sean said with a sigh.
“You just think I’m dirty…”
Lyla said tearfully.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and Zander and Cheryl’s voices rang outside.
“Commander, what happened?”
“Boss, do you need help?”
Sean rushed to the door and locked it behind him. Cheryl and Zander would misunderstand if they entered.
“I’m fine. Get some rest. I’m fine here.”
Zander and Cheryl seemed to be muttering outside the door when they heard Sean’s voice.
However, the two soon left.
Turning around and walking up to Lyla, Sean held his forehead and said, “Go to sleep. What are you waiting for?”
“Are you willing to do it now?”
Lyla wiped tears from her face and said somewhat gleefully.
She thought Sean had changed his mind and was ready to accept her “repayment”.
