Sunnyridge Street in suburban Ocean City.
Sean took a deep breath when he arrived.
To be honest, he had no idea where to find Willow. He had given the order to secretly investigate the Lake family, but he would be foolish to expect any useful information at such short notice.
“Mr. Lennon, what should we do now?”
Zander noticed Sean had hurried over as he asked, and he immediately followed.
Because they were in a rush, one of the two drunk men brushing past Sean hit Zander’s shoulder.
“I’m so sorry.” Zander curtly apologized and continued to catch up with Sean.
The man who had been hit in the shoulder grabbed Zander’s shoulder.
“Hey, what’s wrong with you? Do you not look where you’re going? Are you blind?”
Before Zander could answer, the man swung at Zander’s face.
Seeing this, Zander took the man’s fist in his hand.
“What’s the matter with you? I didn’t knock you down or hurt you. I even apologized. What more do you want?”
“What do I want? Can you fool me with just a casual apology? Is that how you apologize? Are you kidding me?”
Zander was somewhat upset to hear that.
Zander, who always preferred to use violence, had apologized politely.
Sean said, “Zander, there’s no time to waste with this trash.”
“Yes, got it.” Zander glared at the two men before running after Sean.
“Hmph. Consider you two lucky.”
Zander took Sean’s advice and let the two go.
However, these two drunk guys kept looking for trouble.
The man with a big nose ran in front of Sean and intercepted Sean’s path.
“What’s the matter? Are you planning to leave after hitting others? And you looked like you did nothing wrong. Do you think that’s right?”
Sean frowned slightly at this.
However, the two men saw Sean’s inaction as weakness and immediately taunted Sean and Zander.
“Haha,” the man in front of Sean banged his fists together in an attempt to intimidate Sean.
“Gave up so soon? You’re no good either! It’s not too late to beg for mercy, but given what you said before, we can talk
things through if you kneel and apologize.”
The man standing behind Zander also sneered and showed Zander his middle finger.
“B*tch, I gave you face. Kneel and apologize or take a beating. I’ll give you three seconds to think it over. You’re going to get hurt.”
“One.”
“Two.” The man who uttered the word burst into laughter.
“No way! Really? You’re not too scared to move, are you? I’ve never seen such a timid person. How funny.”
“Since you’re like this, we have no other choice. We have no choice but to beat you both up. Don’t worry. We’ll do it as gently as possible.”
With that said, these two men attacked Sean and Zander.
