It was a call from Optimus Security Services, saying the Welsh family sent someone over to talk business.
“Tell them to wait. I’m on my way.” Jagoan hung up and got up.
A dozen people were already waiting in the lobby when he arrived at the company. The men stood up as soon as they saw Jagoan.
“Are you Mr. Lennon?” The man with narrow eyes at the front smiled kindly at Jagoan.
Seeing this, Jagoan nodded.
The man with narrow eyes smiled. “We finally met. Mr. Lennon, you look much better than rumored.”
“Let’s save the pleasantries. What do you need us to do?” Jagoan asked.
“There’s a place we want you to go, Mr. Lennon. We won’t ask much. Since you’re wealthy, give us a couple of millions of dollars.”
“Oh?” Jagoan narrowed his eyes when he heard this. “I have to pay you? Are you here to cause trouble?”
The man with narrow eyes smiled and asked in reply,” What’s the matter? Do you not know who we are yet, Mr. Lennon? Do I need to remind you? Have you forgotten what happened last night at the disco, Mr. Lennon?”
Jagoan only remembered when he heard that.
He had heard yesterday that Wendy’s father was powerful, but he did not take it to heart. They were probably here to harass him. That being said, he might harass them instead.
“Of course not, I just taught these ignorant guys a lesson… Besides, you’re slow.”
The man with narrow eyes opened his eyes slightly. “How fast do you want us to be? Thanks to you, the Young Miss has just woken up. It took us great effort to find a small company like you, Mr. Lennon. We have a job for you. Will you take it or not? Think it over.”
“Really?” Jagoan narrowed his eyes. “Let’s try and see…”
Before the man with narrow eyes could speak, a man next to him growled at Jagoan.
They came over to fight Jagoan and intimidate him. Starting a fight was just what they wanted.
