“Huh? Are we bombarding the hill?” Daniel froze and continued asking, “We don’t have much gunpowder left. How much do we have to bury?”
Jagoan did the math before saying, “Bury them all. If this doesn’t blow up the base, we can only fall back.”
“Okay!” Daniel answered before carrying the bags of gunpowder to the place Jagoan had pointed at and quickly dug a hole to bury the gunpowder.
Leaving only a part of the detonator still exposed outside the dirt, Daniel pulled out a lighter and lit the fuse without hesitation.
Sizz! Sizz! Sizz!
There was a shrill noise, and all members of Optimus Security Services quickly retreated into the distance without Jagoan warning them.
Although Daniel did not bury a lot of gunpowder, the effect was astonishing once it exploded.
Boom!
There was an explosion louder than before, and a flash of flame went up into the sky.
Crimson’s assassins heading outside the base from the passageway were knocked to the ground by the explosion. Before they realized it, the passageway above them began to crack.
“F*ck! Our base is collapsing. Run!”
Whoever found the collapsing passageway let out a cry of surprise.
Crimson’s assassins heard the cry. The assassins who had been menacing a moment earlier now scurried about like frightened rats. However, the passageway collapsed far faster than their evacuation. Even if they tried their best to escape, many people were buried under the rubble.
“Hahaha! Brother Jagoan, you’re clever to blow a hole in the rats’ nest!” Daniel laughed arrogantly.
Before he could say more, Jagoan waved his hand at the Optimus members behind him and said coldly, “Don’t waste your time. Get it over with so we can report back to Mr. Lennon.”
There was a response from behind, and multiple figures walked past Jagoan, found their own targets, and took their lives.
