“Evidence? Do I need to lie to you about such a trivial matter?”
Before Sean could speak, Zander spoke first.
He looked up at Kennedy on the stage with disdain.
With Sean’s status, he would not joke about such a trivial matter.
Kennedy looked at Zander and said with a smile, “Pal, you can mess with your food, but you can’t mess with some things.
“If Optimus Security Services is what you say it is and the staff meals cost millions of dollars a day, why make excuses to avoid it?”
As soon as this was said, many dignitaries present also looked at Sean and Zander with suspicion.
Zander looked enraged as he was on the verge of exploding.
He could stand anyone humiliating him, but he could not stand anyone humiliating Sean.
“Alright, since Old Master Lake insists, I’ll show it to him.”
Sean said with a faint smile.
Zander looked calm again as he took out his phone and showed a page on it.
Then, he pointed the phone at the crowd and said disdainfully, “See this? It’s the transaction record of our daily purchases of food ingredients.
“You’re frogs at the bottom of a well. You’re incapable, so you doubt others can do it.”
The closest guy to Zander was Curtis, who grabbed the phone out of Zander’s hand.
After a cursory scroll, his face grew pale.
It was a transaction record, not a picture or a chat. There was no way to fake it.
However, he refused to believe that a mere security firm could spend more than a million dollars on food every day.
