There was a man and two women.
The man was Mario, and the women were young, looking like they were no older than 20.
Both women were beautiful and elegant. Every gesture they made seemed noble.
Titus raised his eyebrows, leaned over to Jagoan, and whispered, “Mr. Lennon, one of those two women is Millie.”
“Okay, come on…” Jagoan nodded nonchalantly and beckoned Titus to leave.
Jagoan did not seem interested in Millie, so Titus did not stay.
The four people passed by Mario and the women. Mario apologized to them and said, “I’m sorry for not entertaining you this time. I’ll treat you next time!”
“Mr. Winters, you’re too kind. Goodbye…” Jagoan waved his hand and said with a smile.
Watching Jagoan and the rest walk away, the young woman next to Mario looked slightly interested.
“Uncle Mario, who are these people? Why are you so polite to them?” The woman asked with a smile.
The woman’s identity was self-evident when she called Mario “Uncle”. She was none other than Millie, the mayor’s daughter.
Mario answered with a smile, “The men and women walking in front are Titus Lake and Winnie Lake from the Lake family’s second and third branches… As for those two in the back, the young man’s name is Jagoan Lennon. He’s the owner of Optimus Security Services and complicated…”
“I don’t know the other one, but he looks like Mr. Lennon’s bodyguard,” Mario explained briefly about Jagoan’s relationship with the Carver family, the Davis family, and the Quartz family as well as their feud with the Lake family.
Millie nodded thoughtfully and said with a smile, “Mr. Lennon is indeed complicated.”
