“If you have a death wish, I’ll grant your wish!” The man’s cold voice rang.
Strangely, he was nowhere to be found.
Jagoan smiled disdainfully, wondering if the man thought he could not find him because he hid in the dark.
Thump!
Jagoan lifted his right foot and stomped so hard that the ground seemed to shake for a moment. An invisible wave spread from beneath Jagoan’s feet.
Thump!
The man was blown away, hitting the metal door.
Blood came out of the man’s mouth as he stared at Jagoan in disbelief and horror.
“W-Who the hell are you? How could someone like you exist… in Ocean City?” The man’s voice trembled slightly.
Millie and Cynthia, who were tied to a chair, looked confused. They wondered if Jagoan was human and how he sent a man flying with one stomp.
“You have a Soul Annihilating Needle, so you’re quite smart,” Jagoan said with a smile.
Then, he walked toward the man.
Looking at Jagoan coming toward him, the horror in the man’s eyes was evident. He struggled to his feet and darted out of the door like a ghost.
“Do you think you can escape?” Jagoan’s indifferent voice rang behind the man, making the man stumble.
When Jagoan did nothing, Millie said anxiously, “Mr. Lennon, hurry up. He’s going to get away!”
“Hahaha…” Jagoan said nothing but laughed.
Then, he bent over and picked up a piece of rubble. He flicked his fingers, and the rubble shot like a bullet into the man’s back.
Swoosh!
The man slowly looked back at Jagoan before falling to the ground.
Jagoan smiled and said, “He’s still alive.”
Jagoan smiled and nodded before freeing Millie and Cynthia and walking toward the man.
“Didn’t I say I can fix it? Go to Optimus Clinic to see me when we return to Ocean City,” Jagoan said without looking back after hearing Millie’s question.
Then, he took the man in one hand and headed out with Millie and Cynthia.
Millie had some business to attend to at Greenrie Cathedral, so Jagoan left first.
“Mr. Lennon, who is this guy?” Daniel asked curiously when he saw the man in Jagoan’s hand.
Just as Jagoan came up to Greenrie Cathedral, Jagoan and the Brown brothers had returned.
Jagoan glanced at the man in his hand and said with a smile, “I almost failed our mission. Fortunately, this guy is stupid enough to carve words into the tree.”
“Tsk, tsk, tsk. Was this guy disfigured by a fire? It seems he’s a man of mystery too…” Daniel observed the man and said.
Jagoan nodded his head in recognition of his statement.
