Chapter 2392
Cynthia was dispirited and only lifelessly greeted Sean when he came in.
Sean did not take it seriously. He only walked up to Cynthia and reached out to remove the mask from her face.
There was a flicker of struggle in Cynthia's eyes as if she was afraid that removing the mask would kill her.
"How can I help you if you don't remove this mask?” Sean said with a smile.
Cynthia stopped struggling and let Sean take off her mask.
Cynthia's face was covered with wounds. Although they were not deep, it was unsightly.
These wounds would still leave disfiguring scars. The dense scarring and the hospitals’ standard work could not fully heal those scars.
Sean touched a wound on Cynthia's face. Feeling the pain and warmth coming from her face, Cynthia's eyes glimmered slightly for some reason.
"It's not a big problem. I'll write you a prescription later, and you can take it and apply it as prescribed.
"When the wounds heal, come to me at Optimus Clinic or Optimus Security Services, and I'll make sure you look just like you did before.”
Cynthia heard Sean's voice.
Hearing Sean's words, Cynthia's eyes were finally no longer as gloomy as before. They now had a different glow.
Appearances were important to all women.
Even though the Winters family had instilled in
Cynthia's mind since childhood that Millie mattered the most, she still could not avoid caring about her appearance.
“Thank... Thank you..."
Cynthia thanked Sean with some difficulty. She spoke with a trace of difficulty as if she had never said those words.
Sean patted her head and said with a smile, "Don't mention it.”
Then, Sean sat down at his desk, picked up a pencil, and began writing on a piece of paper.
