The guardian's sword by Taking Cigarette novel Chapter 2561

'Curtis, don't worry.

I'll cure you! Whatever it takes, I'll get you back on your feet!" Kennedy stammered as he held Curtis.

Curtis tried to hold back the tears that were about to fall from his eyes and nodded sadly.

He knew his condition, and there was little hope that he could ever stand back up.

Seeing Kennedy and Curtis so concerned about whether Curtis could stand back up, Titus' eyes glimmered.

Titus turned to Kennedy and said, "Uncle Kennedy, don't complain that I don't care about Brother Curtis! I know a way to get him back on his feet!" With that said, Kennedy and Curtis looked at Titus with a tinge of hope in their eyes.

Curtis gulped with difficulty before replying, "Hurry and tell me! If I can recover, I can forget what happened and will give way when I see you in the future!" The thought of spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair filled Curtis with despair.

Rather than being confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, Curtis would wipe the slate clean and would avoid Titus whenever he sees him in the future.

Kennedy also looked at Titus with hope.

Getting Curtis back on his feet was undoubtedly Kennedy's goal.

Although Titus was one of the culprits who put Curtis in his current condition, Kennedy was willing to try if Titus had a way to heal Curtis.

Titus scoffed and answered, "Haha, what can you do to me even if you don't forget about the past? Perhaps hospital doctors can't put you back on your feet, but don't forget that Brother Lennon is Ocean City's miracle doctor! He can cure Curtis if you beg him!’ Kennedy and Curtis looked at Sean after Titus said that.

They were enemies, so they never put the hope of curing Curtis on Sean and subconsciously ignored Sean's identity as Ocean City's miracle doctor.

They came to their senses when Titus mentioned Sean.
