Chapter 290
His face was already red and swollen, looking like a pig’s head.
Sean said nothing, so he dared not get up.
“Since Willow has forgiven you, I have nothing else to say.”
Sean said after Willow nodded to him.
“Yes, yes… Thank you, Brother Sean. Thank you, Brother Sean…
“What about my family?”
Jay was still scared to get up. He stayed on his knees and looked up at Sean.
Sean kept silent for two seconds. He still had to take care of Willow’s feelings.
“I’ll give the Bennett family one last chance for Willow’s sake.”
Otherwise, he would have crushed the Bennett family with one hand.
“Thank
you, Brother Sean. Thank you, Brother Sean…”
Jay was excited when he heard that. He nodded as if he was pounding meat with his forehead before getting up slowly.
“Willow, let’s go
home.”
Sean glanced at the crowd before looking back at Willow with a smile.
“Ah… Go home… Sure, sure.”
Willow felt like she was in a dream and nodded stiffly.
She paused for a few seconds before slowly stepping forward and wheeling Sean out.
“Sean, don’t think you’re all that!
“River City is full of people you can’t mess with!”
The more Herbert thought about it, the more upset he became. He spoke through gritted teeth, trying to gain back some face.
Sean slowly turned his head and looked at Herbert.
Herbert was stunned by the fierce look in his eyes.
“I don’t know if there’s anyone in River City that I, Sean Lennon, can’t mess with.
“But I do know if you dare to mess with me again, I’ll give you a taste of Jay’s suffering today.”
Sean said as his gaze shot straight at Herbert like a bolt of lightning.
Sean seemed domineering as his aura as a nine–star commander was in full swing.
The temperature in the private room seemed to drop by several degrees.
Herbert’s mouth opened. Sean’s imposing aura intimidated him from speaking.
“Is it bad to stay alive?
“Why do people like to cause trouble?”
Sean withdrew his gaze and left the private room with Willow.
Lexie pursed her lips and followed.
“Jay, what the f*ck was that?
“Are you out of your mind? Why did you get down on your knees and apologize to him?”
Herbert gritted his teeth as he looked at Jay. He sounded furious.
He thought Sean was only so arrogant because Jay was so humble to him.
Jay could only swallow the pain!
He had no idea who Sean was, and he was not even 100% sure that Sean did this.
However, the Bennett family had run out of options.
They were tottering before the abyss ahead, and they had to try any chance to solve the crisis!
