Summon Of The Sword novel Chapter 1722

Sean glanced expressionlessly at Shania and then this mischievous girl immediately shut her mouth obediently.

After dinner, Sean returned to his room. Zander followed him, perhaps to report something, and Sean had some questions for him as well.

Sean had been away from the mayor's residence all day today, and who knew if anything bad had happened here after he left?

"Commander..." Zander said as he approached Sean.

"Have a seat," Sean said as he pulled over a chair.

Zander did not refuse and sat down on the chair. He then began to report his observations to Sean in detail.

"Commander, after my observations these past few days, I found that the residents of Crosac are generally friendly towards Dorodo, especially towards the people from Dragon Kingdom. However, there're also some unfriendly ones, mostly the native residents of the alliance, particularly the several big families of Crosac."

"The several big families of Crosac harbor some hostility towards Dorodo, and among them, the Kaygene family has the most hostility towards Dorodo."

Hearing this, Sean frowned slightly.

The Kaygene family?

Rapido was the young master of the Kaygene family.

It seemed that Rapido's hostility towards him after meeting him today was not just because he saw him as a love rival, but also because of the influence of the Kaygene family.

"What about the military?" Sean asked.

Zander immediately replied, "The attitudes of Crosac's city defense army, Hibiscus Mercenary Regiment, and Edelweiss Mercenary Regiment towards Dorodo are not the same. Crosac's city defense army tends to be friendly, while Hibiscus Mercenary Regiment and Edelweiss Mercenary Regiment are slightly cold and even hostile."

Zander thought for a moment and asked, "Commander, will there be a war between Dorodo and Crosac?"

"It's still unclear. The situation is uncertain, but I'll try to avoid it as much as possible. After all, the cost of war is too high," Sean sighed.

Zander also felt the same way when he heard Sean's words.

The cost of the war was undoubtedly huge. Even if they won the battle, the cost will still be very high.

Zander had followed Sean in over a hundred battles, all of which were victories. Even in victory, however, he felt sorrow as he watched his comrades fall one by one in a pool of blood and die in the trenches, each of whom he trusted and valued.

"Alright, go rest. If there's anything, I'll notify you immediately," Sean said with a smile.

Zander nodded and then turned and left.
