Sean glanced at Titus and said with a smile.

However, Titus looked like he did not believe Sean.

When Sean ignored him, Titus asked again, "Brother Lennon, how strong are Janestown's top eight families? I can't imagine a family being around for 300 years and still standing at the top of Janestown and even Dragon Kingdom!"

Sean glanced at him and replied solemnly, "You'd better not mess with the top eight families. There's more to them than meets the eye."

Sean said nothing else. Janestown's top eight families were far beyond Titus.

The Lake family's second branch was already at the top of Ocean City's pecking order, but all of the Lake family's branches together would still be no match for the top eight families in Janestown.

Titus nodded earnestly before asking with an odd expression, "Brother Lennon, what if the top eight families were to mess with me?"

Before Titus could speak, there was a sudden knock on the private room door.

Sean raised his eyebrows, glanced at him, and did not speak, nor did he strike immediately.

Titus also came to his senses. Looking at the shiny dagger beside him, his eyes were full of fear.

"Who are you?" Titus asked icily as he looked coldly at the attackers.
