Sean felt extremely amused when he noticed the look of confidence on Ellen’s face.

If the keys to the Rolls–Royce were not in his hands, he would have believed in Ellen’s nonsense.

Finn immediately got up and dragged the young man over,

Finn cast a displeased look at Sean while speaking.

He wanted to see how Sean would clarify all his previous lies.
