SONIA’S POV

Thad acted like a fool, I thought, as laid at the bank of the river closest to my house.

Ramon had left with Blane, after giving me strict instructions to wait for him.

But the second that door closed, I knew I couldn’t remain in the room.

I found my way out, and didn’t stop until I arrived at the river,

The air smelt crisper. There wasn’t that poisonous stench that filtered into my nose before I treated the waters.
