Chapter 257
SONIAN POV
My wolf form moved through the fray, claws and teeth ripping through the rogues that dared cross my path. Every strike, every bite, was driven by the unrelenting resolve to end this war.
Even in the chaos, she was calms, her entel smile a twisted mockery of control
This had to end tonight, under this cursed moon
As I broke free from the chaos, Lorena turned to face me. Her simile widened, her eyes gleaming with cruel amusement.
“Well, well,” she drawled, her voice cutting through the cacophony. “The mighty Luna Sonia You’ve come to face me at last.”
I shified back to human form, the ache in my body momentarily forgotten as I met her gaze. “This ends now, Lorena,” I said, my voice steady despite the storm raging within me.
Her laugh was sharp, grating against my nerves. “Ends? Oh, Sonia. This is just the beginning” She stepped forward, her movements predatory. “Do you really think you have what it takes to stop me?”
I raised my blade, the moonlight glinting off its edge. “You’ll find out soon enough”
Without another word, she lunged her claws slicing through the air with deadly precision. I parried, our movements fast and brutal. Each strike was a culmination of years of hatred and pain. She fought like a beast, her strength feral and unrelenting, but I matched her blow for blow
“You’ve already lost,” she sneered, her voice dripping with venom. “Look around you. Sonia. How many have fallen because of you? Your father. Your pack. Your family”
I grilled my teeth, my blade clashing against her claws. “You don’t get to talk about my family”
“Why not?” she taunted, her smile widening. “Your father was a coward, Sonia. Anil you’re just like him, a failure trying to play hero. And same is the man I used and dumped on you, ain’t it, darling!”
Her words struck deep, but 1 used the pain as fuel twisted, slashing at her side. The blade found its mark, drawing blood, but she barely flinched.
We circled each other, both of us breathing hard, our bodies bruised and bloodied Lorna’s eyes gleamed with malice as she took another step closer,
“You think this is just about me?” she said, her voice low and sharp. “There’s so much you don’t know, Sonia. So much your precious father kept from you
“Shut up!” I snarled, lunging forward. My blade slashed through the air, narrowly missing her throat as she dodged.
She laughed, the sound grating and hollow. “Didn’t he tell you? Of course, he didn’t. He was too ashamed. But I’ll tell you, Sonia. I’ll tell you everything”
1 froze for a fraction of a second, the conviction in her voice piercing through my focus.
“Your father,” Lorena hissed, her lips curling into a wicked smile. “He wasn’t the man you thought he was. He wasn’t just my enemy, Sonia. He was my lover.”
Her words hit me like a blow, stealing the breath from my lungs. It was not something new because I’ve already been told but hearing it again, from her, with so much glut in her eyes sparks a rage of undefined anger in me
“And from that union,” she continued, her tone almost gleeful, “came something precious. Something he never t Your half–sister”

“Am I?” she said, her smile widening.
me now, you’ll never know her. You’ll never meet the only family you have left”
The words echoed in my mind, my grip on the blade faltering. My heart pounded, torn between fury and the unbearable weight of doubt. Could she be telling the truth?
“Sonia,” she whispered, her voice softening as she took a step closer. “You don’t want to do this. Let me go, and I’ll take you to her. I’ll show you the
For a moment, the world seemed to still. My breath came in sh

blade trembling in my hand.
Wolf’s voice cut through the haze, sharp and filled with urgency
Before I could react, Wolf appeared behind Lorena, his silver laced blade gleaming in the moonlight. In one swift motion, he drove it through her back, the sound of metal piercing flesh echoing across the battlefield
Lorena gasped, her body arching as the blade sank deep. Blood spilled from her lips as she dropped to her knees, her wide eyes locking onto mine. “You fool she rasped, her voice trembling with pain. “You’ll never know now…”
Lorena drops to her knees in front of me. Grabbing her hair from behind, Wolf forces her to look into my eyes. My brothers gather around, and Ramon stands beside me.
I pleads for them to let her confess where she’s keeping the child, but they refuse. Instead, they command Lorena to beg for my forgiveness but she was fighting for her last breath.
Lorena scoffs in defiance, causing Wolf to push the sword deeper. Lorena screams in agony, and finally, begins to beg for mercy
