The bathroom door swung open, releasing a cloud of mist that enveloped Stanley’s tall, handsome figure as he stepped out, freshly showered.

Stanley was dressed in a sleek, black silk robe. As soon as he emerged, he overheard Nathan’s invitation to Wendy for a fun night.

Wendy turned her head and saw Stanley standing there.

“I’ll call you back later, Nathan,” she said, disconnecting the call. She turned to Stanley, her voice steady but cool. “I’m leaving.”
