The Heiress Nobody Saw Coming (Natalie and Marcus) novel Chapter 551

Sky let out a breath of relief when he heard Natalie's response.

"Alright, then. Thank you, Natalie," he said with a smile.

"You don't have to be so polite, Sky," Natalie replied.

She stood up and added, "Dad, Mom, Lincoln, and everyone else are all waiting for you to come home."

Natalie motioned toward the door. "Come on, Sky. Let's go."

"Alright." Sky agreed, standing up and following her out of the dining room.

Having spent time living at Holden Residence before, Natalie was far more familiar with the Holden family than Sky was. She moved about naturally as if she were in her own home.

Sky hesitated before finally saying, "Natalie, I know you and Marcus are officially together now, and he needs you by his side. However, you two aren't engaged yet, and if possible, I still think it'd be better if you came home every night."

Natalie thought about it for a moment before nodding. "Alright, I understand," she said softly.

"I'll have Marcus come stay at the Walker residence with me," she added.

Sky was briefly stunned but nodded still. "That works too. Grandpa Charles would feel more at ease that way," he said thoughtfully.

If Marcus stayed at Holden Residence, he would only be plagued by painful memories, making it harder for him to move on. A change of environment might help him.

By the time they returned to the living room, Marcus had already gathered himself. His expression was blank, giving him an almost robotic demeanor.

Seeing them return, he got up and walked over to Natalie. "Are you going to see Sky off?" he asked.

Natalie nodded. "Yes, my parents and I are taking him back to prison," she explained.

"Alright, I'll go with you," Marcus said calmly.

"Okay," Natalie replied, reaching out to take his arm. "After we drop Sky off, let's stop by the hospital!"

"Alright," Marcus agreed with a slight nod.

"Sky, let's go," Charlotte called out.

Except for Hector and Mason, who stayed behind at Holden Residence, the rest of the Walker family left together.

Lincoln had his hands full managing Walker Group while also juggling his acting career, leaving him no time to comfort Marcus.

Meanwhile, Timothy's team had been busy training for heavyweight competitions, and they couldn't do without him. With all the traveling for matches, he simply couldn't stay behind.

Hector had been busy as well, but to stay by Natalie's side, he arranged for several people to share his workload, allowing him to take an extended leave.

As for Mason, he was still a student. Before the semester started, he had plenty of free time. Even after school resumed, he could take days off if necessary, so staying at Holden Residence was a reasonable arrangement.

However, if Marcus moved to the Walker family's home, Hector and Mason could also return there and focus on their own responsibilities.

After dropping Sky off at the prison, Marcus and Natalie left to see Yvette at the hospital, while William and Charlotte chose not to go.

The Walker family never let go of their grudges.

Back then, Yvette had coerced Grace into switching their daughter, and Charlotte would never forgive her for that.

Now that Kenton had returned, his hatred for Yvette was just as deep—if not deeper—than anyone else's. With her now terminally ill, his relentless pursuit of revenge made it unnecessary for the Walker family to take action themselves.
