The Heiress Nobody Saw Coming (Natalie and Marcus) novel Chapter 633

Marcus held Natalie's hand and walked toward Timothy. With utmost respect, he greeted him. "Hello, Timothy."

Timothy found Marcus's respectful tone unsettling and weird. After all, when Emma was his fiancée, Marcus had always maintained a strictly business-like attitude toward them.

Forget about respect—there wasn't even a trace of warmth.

"Timothy, I'm leaving Nat in your care," Marcus said with a smile. "I have no objections about you bringing her to a little gathering before the wedding, but I'd appreciate it if you could keep an eye on her."

He continued, "Please make sure she doesn't drink too much. It's dangerous for a woman when she drinks outside."

"Marcus, are you saying you don't trust me?" Timothy stared at him. "If you're worried, why don't you come along?"

"Sure! Thank you, Timothy."

This was what Marcus had been waiting for.

He immediately tightened his grip on Natalie's hand and flashed her an alluring smile. "Nat, I'm worried about you, so I'll go with you guys."

Natalie was briefly stunned before replying, "Sure. One more person doesn't make a difference."

"Mm." Having achieved his goal, Marcus could no longer suppress the smirk on his face.

Only then did Timothy realize he had fallen into Marcus' trap. But since he had already agreed, there was no taking back.

"Let's go!"

"Alright, let's go!"

The three of them walked out the door. Timothy got into the driver's seat while Marcus pulled Natalie toward the backseat.

Timothy immediately spoke up, "Nat, sit in front. You two really think I'm your chauffeur, huh?"

"Not at all." Natalie quickly got into the front passenger seat. She smiled at Timothy, "Thank you, Timothy."

Sitting in the backseat, Marcus just kept quiet.

Whatever. He wasn't angry, nor was he jealous. After all, Natalie was his wife. From now on, she would be spending most of her time with him anyway.

The wedding had yet to take place. Sure, they had gotten their marriage certificate, but it was because she was worried about Marcus' mental state after Charles had passed away.

He hadn't gone through the proper process before getting the marriage certificate, so it was understandable that the Walkers weren't pleased.

Regarding this matter, he was at fault.

Marcus reflected on it. Even though he was wrong, he wouldn't have changed a thing.

Timothy glanced at Marcus through the rearview mirror. Marcus was wearing his tailored suit, sitting there elegantly. He was looking out the window with an unreadable expression.

Timothy wanted to say something to Natalie, but with Marcus in the backseat, he decided to keep his mouth shut.

The car left Holden Residence and cruised smoothly along the road. Half an hour later, they arrived at the club Celeste had booked.

"Nat, we're here."

Timothy parked the car and stepped out, wanting to walk around to open the door for Natalie. However, she pushed it open herself and stepped out.

As for Marcus, he also got out on his own. He glanced up at the club's name—Green Lake Club. It was one of Celeste's businesses.

"Let's go!"

Timothy glanced at Marcus and Natalie before leading them inside.
