Chapter 138 You Can’t Live Without Me
Boris sensed the sarcasm in Ziana’s words, and he was infuriated by Ziana’s ironic smile.
He had never been satirized like that and always had the upper hand in any relationship. No one had ever talked to him
like that.
How dare Ziana say that to him?
Why did she look at him with such contempt?
Boris felt he had been humiliated. Almost immediately, he talked back without hesitation, “You don’t even deserve it ”
Ziana smiled, “Yes, I don’t deserve it. But since you don’t like me, why do you ask me to go back?”
Boris’ face turned gloomy and cold.
He thought it was necessary to let Ziana know he was running out of patience.
He was sincere enough and had a good attitude. If she was smart, she should accept his offer.
So Boris sneered, “Ziana, I decided to give you this opportunity for the sake of your love for me. You should know that many women want to be my wife, and also many women want to give birth to a baby for me, not just you.”
“So why don’t you go to them but pester me like this?” Ziana laughed.
Ziana looked Boris up and down calmly as if she had read his mind. She asked casually, “Did you suddenly find that you can’t live without me after we got divorced?”
“I can’t live without you?” Boris seemed to have heard a joke. “What makes you so confident?”
Ziana didn’t say anything but looked at Boris gently and quietly.
Just like what she had done countless times before, no matter how Boris treated her, she was always full of tolerance
and concession.
But this time, Boris sensed some disdain and contempt for him from Ziana’s calmness and tenderness.
His face was flushed by Ziana’s gaze, and his eyes turned cold. “This is your last chance. Will you come back?”
“No.”
“Think it over before you answer me!”
“I have thought about it clearly.”
To be exact, Ziana had thought about it for two years. Two years ago when she found that he didn’t love her, she had been thinking about leaving.
But Ziana always had expectations for Boris, and was always moved by something casual in daily lite, so she could not make up her mind over and over again.
Ziana let herself struggle in this relationship, painful and desperate.
It was not until they divorced that she was forced to get rid of the pain, and now she could finally answer this question calmly.
“I won’t go back.” Ziana stared at Boris, thinking of the pain she had suffered in the past, and said firmly, “I don’t love you anymore.”
“That’s impossible!” Boris stood up immediately.
He clenched his fists and felt depressed. He was extremely upset, so he said something harsh, “You still love me. Ziana, don’t be stubborn. This is your last chance. If you miss it, I will never give you one more chance no matter how
you beg me.”
He knew how much Ziana loved him.
Would the love in the past three years suddenly disappear?
How could Ziana who loved him so much and was loyal to him say she didn’t love him anymore?
Boris didn’t believe what Ziana said.
But Ziana continued, “I have forgotten the past.”
Her words brought overwhelming depression to Boris.
“I don’t believe it!” Boris gritted his teeth and said fiercely, “They are just your angry words! You’re lying! You’ve been out for a few months and learned something bad, haven’t you? Well, you are brave! Now that you refuse to accept kindness, you will regret it sooner or later.”
After saying that, Boris walked out in a hurry, afraid that she would say something harsher if he still stayed there.
Boris went downstairs in a hurry. When he called Nell, his hands were trembling.
