The Hidden Gold Mine Heiress Divorcee By Vera Whitehead Chapter 16

Chapter 16 Backup Maintenance Base

“No way,” Boris said without thinking. “She won’t do it.”

Boris thought Ziana liked him so much that she wouldn’t be willing to put him on the blacklist.

Boris raised his eyebrows and confidently dialed again. However, this time, there was still the cold

beep.

He threw the phone on the table with a stern face, stared at it for a while, and suddenly said, “Nell! Give me your phone!”

Nell hurriedly passed the mobile phone respectfully.

Boris used Nell’s mobile phone to call Ziana, and after it rang for two seconds, the call was connected quickly.

“Who is that?” A lazy female voice sounded. It was from Ziana.

Boris gritted his teeth and questioned hard, “Ziana, how dare you put me on the blacklist?”

The roaring male voice came through the microphone, and almost shattered Ziana’s eardrums.

Ziana only had one so violent man in her memory.

Ziana put him on speakerphone, held the phone a little farther away, and asked word by word, “Mr. Lewis, mind your manners.”

“What?”

“Beep…”

When Boris realized the phone was hung up, he was

Seeing this, Nell coughed lightly and hurriedly reminded, “Mr. Lewis! That’s… my cell phone!”

“How dare she?” Although Boris stopped his movements, he was still angry. “Who gives her the guts to put me on the blacklist and hung up on me again? Is she crazy?”

Seeing that his phone was safe, Nell heaved a sigh of relief and said cautiously, “Maybe you should call her Miss Scott?”

-“Call her Miss Scott? Is she worthy of it? Others don’t know her, but I do. She is used to being arrogant in front of others. But how dare she put on airs in front of me?” Boris snorted coldly. “I’ll

call her Ziana. What can she do to me?”

“She can hang up on your phone,” Nell said honestly. “She can also put you on the blacklist.

Boris glared at Nell. “Shut up!”

Nell didn’t dare to speak anymore and took a few steps back.

Boris took a deep breath and stared at the phone, wishing to pierce it.

About five minutes later, he moved suddenly and dialed again in one go.

When he heard the ringing, he was relieved. He thought, “Great, Ziana hasn’t put this number on the blacklist yet.”

But just as he breathed a sigh of relief, he couldn’t help becoming nervous. The bell rang again and again, but Ziana didn’t answer it.

Boris shouted in his heart, “Answer the phone!”

Boris licked his lips irritably, and suddenly, the boring mechanical sound stopped abruptly.

Ziana answered the phone, saying, “I’m listening.”

Hearing this arrogant and domineering tone, Boris thought he owed her money!

Boris was so angry that he wanted to scold her. But when he spoke, a mysterious force made him change his mind. “Miss Scott.”

“Yeah?” Ziana said lazily. “What do you

want?”

Hearing her words, Boris was speechless and angry.

He felt now that every word she said was so annoying!

Boris held back his anger. “Zezili wants you to visit him at his home tomorrow. Don’t be late.”

“I am busy.” Zianà clicked her tongue. “Mr. Lewis, things are different now. You have to wait in line

to ask me out.”

Boris sneered. “Don’t flatter yourself. How many men are there wanting to date you? Is the number enough for you to make them queue up? There is no queuing up. You just want to make things

difficult for me.”

“Mr. Lewis, since you don’t want to line up, there’s nothing to talk about.”
